Room was kind of musty but we had just had bad rains so im guess that was the issue after we opened the windows and the sun came out all was good. Bed super comfortable, very quiet but lots of good places to drink and eat eithin walking distance. Nice older hotel that has been updated but still has that old hotel charm.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The location is perfect—nice, safe area and super convenient. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Everything exceeded my expectations, and the stay was so relaxing. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The rooms were LOVELY and the renovations are in excellent taste. However, we were unprepared for how the ongoing renovations would affect our stay including having to move rooms twice (once because they couldn't control the heat and once because they sent us to an unserviced room) and having to walk through dirty hallways with plastic sheeting and the ceiling tiles along the floor. Construction noise began before 8am which was a bummer as my husband and I were on a very rare getaway from our kids and sleeping in would have been delightful. The customer service was polite but lacking- we were very kind and understanding about the inconveniences but were offered no compensation beyond a verbal apology. The restaurant does not currently exist which was a bummer, but the location is excellent and near multiple restaurants and tasting rooms (our favorites were Mr. Q for amazing latin food and Ruby Cellars tasting room). I think this will be a wonderful place to stay when the renovations are completed, but I would hold off in the meantime.

I feel conflicted writing this because there’s great potential. Unfortunately, there were many problems. First off, they gave away our room. They then put us in a different, lesser, unfinished room without even offering a discount. It was Christmas Eve and we had nowhere to go. Lastly, there was a screaming crying infant both nights that prevented us from sleeping at all during our stay. We were actually super concerned for the baby because it lasted for 48 hours, and we were scared for the child. It was traumatic for our child to hear all night long. They then had to move us to an another room the third night cause, baby. The only room available was a king and so my husband had to sleep in a couch because he couldn’t fit in bed with our kids who were freaked out at that point. It was a nightmare. I am only giving a two for Angela, who was helpful and the location/design aesthetic which was great.
