Hotel Riu Plaza London The Westminster
"I walked all around London and not a single item stolen but you know where I got pickpocketed? in the hotel elevator, and what was most disturbing was how little the hotel seemed to care or how willing they were to actually investigate it. When I reported the theft, I was initially told they would ..."

Atrium Hotel Heathrow
"First off, this is not a 4* property. Having said that, I would recommend anyone looking for a hotel that is not “in” the airport to stay here. Access: couldn’t be easier. 2 stops on the tube, and if arriving from LHR T5, it’s a short walk and elevator ride to the T5 station, and a 2 minute walk ..."

STG Hotel London Oxford Street
"We had a basic room. Minimal storage (6 hangers 4 shelves). A basic "green" hotel with linen and towel change every 4 days. Using their system to request more towels and toilet paper was not responded to and we had to go get them ourselves. Breakfast buffet was good but not much variety. Lobby Staff ..."

"The hotel was basic but fitted the needs of the short stay. The irons on the 5th didn’t work at all and the irons on the 11th floor operated for 1 minute at a time. The irons were steam irons with no facility to top up with water, meaning a trip back down to level 1 for water to return back up to ..."

"First off, this is not a 4* property. Having said that, I would recommend anyone looking for a hotel that is not “in” the airport to stay here. Access: couldn’t be easier. 2 stops on the tube, and if arriving from LHR T5, it’s a short walk and elevator ride to the T5 station, and a 2 minute walk to the hotel. The transfer is free and takes about ten minutes. The hotel is literally across the street. The property: safe, clean but basic. Has everything you need / want, but no frills. When i walked from the station I saw planes flying over at low altitude (landing) so was worried about noise, but didn’t hear a Thing. I arrived at 11:45am and was given access to my room, which was great as I could shower and leave my bags before heading in to town. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sidenote: I stayed in an odd numbered room, which had a window to the outside. I can’t Confirm this, but it seemed like even numbered rooms faced in door - you may want to double check. They have. Window to outside, if that is important to you. I paid less than $100 for the night which was great value for money and would def stay here again for the sheer convenience of It. n"
