Luton Hoo is a fabulous hotel. The building is a work of art, and the food & beverage are excellent quality (and sensibly priced). The crowning feature of the hotel is the people who work there. Amazing stay in a wonderful hotel. The room and grounds were amazing. Didn't get to sample the included spa area but will definitely do that next time. A perfect stay and one I would highly recommend.

our best hotel experience:)

this place is just outside of luton (around a 5 minute drive). we arrived on the night and was greeted by a lovely man at the gate who asked for our booking (instantly made us feel safe). we were then told where to go and arrived to the mansion house where you can park right outside the building. we walked into reception and we were immediately greeted with smiles and the staff were incredibly kind. we were showed to our room which was absolutely amazing. we had a day at the spa, in luton and also in the pool facilities which were at lovely temperatures. we got into bed and were very upset to have to go home the next day so we made the decision to stay another night seeing as the staff were all very polite, well mannered and dressed. overall the staff were absolutely amazing and accommodated to our needs in an amazing way.

Beautiful building with amazing interior. Rooms are very good but without snacks. Restaurant food is very good. Staff levels are too low in the restaurant. The evening meal was slow to arrive and the young men lacked confidence. Breakfast was the same with the staff under too much pressure. I suspect the owner is boosting profits by cutting staff. The stonework on the outside steps and garden is badly worn and in need grouting and repairs. The new owners are cleary not interested in spending on infrastructure and repairs.

Set in a large country estate the hotel has the convenience of bei g 15 mi s from town and airport but the feel of being in the country. Roo.s were large, spa is open 630 to 9pm weekdays. Walks around the grounds to see wildlife are peaceful.

Hotel staff were amazing. Location and the building was spectacular! We went to the spa and this was a bit disappointing, there were no locker keys so had to take my clothes and bag into the swimming area. We were told we would be given gowns and slippers but they didnt have any , we had to wait for somebody to go and find gowns but they didnt have slippers. The showers did not have any shower gel or shampoo the bottles were empty.....the machine to spin costumes was broken and no plastic bags for wet costumes The water bottles to get a drink in the Pool were empty! I am a member of a Gym where i live and all of the above things are a priority so i was very surprised that all of thiese things were lacking! We didnt bother to go back to the spa the next day! Our bedside tables and lamps were covered in dust! The patio area outside of our room could have done with a sweep and power wash....too dirty to sit out there which was a shame! Food was really good.... that is the afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast! Reception staff were really helpful!

One night stay prior to flying early out of Luton. Warm welcome by reception staff. Room nice and big, bed comfy but on the small side! We had dinner in the lounge. I had pe and mint veloute which was pretty bland. My husband had beef sliders which he said were tasty. There were staff around but not very attentive. No draft beer which always disappoints my husband. Very surprised that all the staff we asked knew nothing of the history of the Hotel!? What a shame, I researched myself but it would have been good if they knew. Lounge area pretty tired but I note the place is closing for changes in late September. Grounds were great and would have been nice to have more time to use the pool and spa facilities. Would definitely come again

Absolutely amazing stay! The service is excellent, the staff is very helpful and friendly! The facilities are splendid and the bed is very comfortable! Not noisy at all. Beautiful outdoors too. Will definitely be coming back

The nineteenth hole, also known as the clubhouse, was not open during my visit. The only available bar was a small and uninspiring lounge in the main hotel. I would not have made a reservation if I had known this at the time of booking. Additionally, the gym and spa were in poor condition—tired and dirty—urgently needing the planned upgrades. I wouldn’t consider returning until all the necessary refurbishments have been completed, especially not at the current cost.
