The room’s physical appearance was fine. The climate control didn’t work at all. As a result, there was a stale smell in the room. I didn’t say anything to the front desk because when I was checking in, they told someone they were completely booked and I needed a place to sleep. I slept fine, but it would have been nice to get some air moving.

The hotel was generally clean and well run. The free breakfast was definitely above average for this service. I took off one star for the fact I was charged a damage deposit and the parking charge (there was plenty of room in the lot.) Also, the free shuttle was never on time, moreover using it resulted in getting to the Universal parks late. From an expense and convenience standpoint, if I were to stay at this hotel again I would not drive and use a ride share company to get around.

Was very pleased with the accommodations and most of all our check-in with "Ash"! Very friendly and started our stay off wonderfully!! Give that guy a raise!! Our only problem was not having a tv channel menu in our room, since the remote was not working properly to be able to pull up a menu on the screen. The MAJOR and very disturbing issue was not being able to sleep due to the event being held in the conference room..loud music thumbing continuously vibrated our room. A call to the front desk said event would stop by 10 pm, however the noise continued past then. PS..front desk needs to be more aware of answring the phone..had to call using an outside line to finally get someone to pick up.
