Hotel Felix was a convenient location for walking to Michigan Ave and other local attractions. My room was very cold. Heater never came on. I was too tired to argue about being placed in a “bad” room. I also didn’t like the nickle and dime for everything including the “urban fee”. I had high hopes for this hotel after the reviews but I think reserving via Expedia put me on the “list”.

Perfect for one or 2 nights stay. Was in town for a photo shoot and it’s was super convenient to get to the studio . Staff was super friendly and bed super comfy. The room was on the small size but it was fine for what I needed. Thank you

Nice but a bit noisy

Our stay at Hotel Felix was generally very good. My only complaint is that our room was a bit noisy from the street, the plumbing, and other sounds around the building. We slept with white noise playing so it wouldn't wake us up.

Hidden fees and poor customer service

I am very disappointed, when, I got there the front desk person told me, that, I had to pay $100 upfront for insurance. I told the man, I wasn't aware of that and I didn't have it. I asked to speak to the manager, he said the manager is going to tell me the same thing. I had to ask my colleague if he could take care of it for me on his card. I also wasn't aware that I had to pay for parking. I requested a hotel with free parking. Lastly, the room; I was supposed to get was having heating issues so me and my colleague got sperate rooms. That was fine but at the same time; it was a surprise.

It was a relaxing stay in an area that is close to lots of good restaurants and close to the Magnificent Mile. We have stayed here many times and will continue to stay here as we come to visit Chicago.
