Absolutely gross and dirty hotel. Looks nothing like the pictures, barely any air conditioning, hair all over the bathroom floor, sink leaks, no hot water. I do not understand why this hotel is getting positive reviews. I actually cancelled the remainder of my reservation and booked a new hotel.

I liked the area because everything was close by. The hotel staff, specifically the woman at the front desk, wasn't very friendly and was a bit rude when I asked her questions about the Wi-Fi password, for example. But the rest was fine!.

Decent place to stay

Air conditioner struggled to cool the room and was loud. Bed was comfy but very soft and the frame was squeaky. Lastly, we were on the second floor directly above the bar so we could hear more noise than desired until closing at midnight. Despite all that, the service was great-super friendly and helpful front desk staff. I would stay again and just ask for a higher room if possible.

The location is terrific for public transit and is also very walkable. ... The hotel itself is an old building, but it has been nicely renovated. My complaint is that the hotel doesn't have coffee or tea available early enough in the morning. It shouldn't be terribly complicated to have coffee available in the lobby at 6 a.m.

Great location, friendly staff.

Great location. First floor room was much smaller than the higher floor we rented in 2023 but friendly helpful staff and again you can't beat the location. Found free weekend parking a block away on 31st street.

It was a lovely hotel with a very cool bar and nice restaurant on the main level. The location was excellent for taking the subway. There are a lot of shops and restaurants close by and you could easily walk to popular attractions like the Empire State Building and Times Square. The staff was very friendly and our room was really nice and clean. I would have liked a towel holder near the shower, also a mini fridge and coffee maker in the room, although the free cup of coffee at the bar each morning was a nice concession. The food was good although the service at the bar in the morning was slow. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This is a unique property with lots of character. This stay, we were is a room which needed care. When we asked to have our desk lamp fixed, etc. we didn't receive response. Several globe lamps were missing their globes. Otherwise, staff were friendly and engaging. The restaurant and basement club were popular, vibrant, and brought energy to the property. The gym was great and well-maintained.I would return to stay here again. The location is fantastic.

The good: great shower, clean, friendly housekeeping The bad: noisy window air conditioner in room, slightly thuggish vibe of some staff. But the most disappointing thing by far was the $35 a night "resort fee" that was tacked onto the room charge at check-in. If the Expedia booking engine touts "upfront pricing: this is the price you will pay, no hidden fees, including resort fees," don't believe it!

Nice lobby. Great staff. Very helpful. Room small but lovely. Only complaints is that the hotel texted us several times asking what time we were checking in, so they had a window of our arrival but they never turned on the AC. So room was very hot. aC was a window unit so it blasted my son’s bed but our bed remained hot. So it was a warm and sticky night. Would have been nice to have turned on and cooled it off before we got there. Also be warned there were dozens of homeless people hanging out within a block or two of the hotel.
