My room was located between the maids closet and faced 35th street. While the room was very clean, it was small, the shower especially tight, and the noise was not ideal for getting a full night’s rest. Kixby should leave earplugs in the rooms! I liked the free reusable water bottle and 2nd floor water, ice, and coffee station. Proximity to subway and getting around was fabulous. Also wish the rooftop had been opened since the weather was perfect but alas already closed for the season.

The location was very central and surrounded by great restaurants. The service was excellent. I had a small issue that my room was not as pictured (lacked the promised sitting area) and the hotel was fully booked but the front desk staff did attempt to resolve the issue.

I never got a notice from Expedia nor from the hotel to remind me of the reservation. I thought I had canceled it much earlier than my deadline. I couldn't travel to NYC, so when I did get a notice the night before I was to check in, I tried to cancel the reservation and Expedia said I needed to contact the hotel directly. I understand that I was supposed to cancel by the 22nd, but I also NEVER received another confirmation or reminder beside the original reservation.
