Ok for starters, if you don't book directly through the hotel website be ready to sit there and not check in till 3pm, if you book directly with hotel you get treated differently. Also, if you book through a 3rd party you are NOT guaranteed the room you pick, I got a one bed and got a 2 bed was pretty much told "oh well we ran out of rooms with one bed" the elevators are SLOW and small, our room was an ok size, the mattress of one of the beds was pretty worn out and I would just automatically roll to the edge, had to sleep at an angle. Location is good. Rooftop bar does not look like the picture, it is dark and outdated, very small. The people at check in are rude, very dismissive. Would I stay here again? NO.

The room was freezing cold with the heating not working. We had to wait ages for the lift every time we wanted to use them due to queues.Staff were friendly though and the bed was comfortable and room was clean. Good location in Manhattan.

What started as a three night stay turned into two full weeks while we were apartment hunting. Although the beds weren't top-notch, the staff was so friendly and accommodating during our entire stay it really made us feel like home away from home. home

Excellent location, good price, and decently-sized room for a solo traveller. Lobby and hallways are definitely showing some wear, but the room was clean and bathroom seemed renovated. The elevators were somewhat problematic - only 4 small elevators for 36 floors of guests, and they often gatekeep 2 of them for those going to the rooftop bar, which leaves only 2 for all hotel guests. This created long wait times and unnecessary chaos in the lobby.

So first of all we were on our honeymoon and we ordered a king size bed. When we got there we got two double beds but charged for the king size bed. Second our room door would jot lock unless you slamed it shut you could enter the room with our a key card. Third for 3 nights there was no heat in the room. Each night i had to go down stairs to let them know tbey said sorry and that they could cresit my account of 80.00 so that we could have breakfast while at the hotel. The 80.00 credit did not get applied and just gave 25.00 credit. The last night they finally brought up a space heater in the room. The say we were checking out we went to have breakfast as they had given me a credit on my account we had the breakfast and then checked out when i got home they had charged me for the breakfast on my credit card and with the exchange it equaled out to 94.23 for a biffet breakfast for 2 people. I had to call them and they said that it was not charged but looked into it and came back to appolized for the charge and then had to refund to my cresit card so had to wait for that to apply to my cresit card. There was not much light in the roon either. Over all not too impressed and lots of problems. The staff was ok. They listened to my complaints and said they were going to do so.ething about it but never. So disappointing
This was my blanket on my bed a big hole in it.
