"Our second night was similar to the first. Nice bed and pleasant very young staff that seemed like they were all brand new at their jobs. The place is kept up poorly and understaffed. Room is outdated with a slight odor, chipped furniture, a loud old air conditioner that didn’t fully cool the room, and one tiny bar of soap. Breakfast includes a set up and tease for an omelet bar that never happens. There is a pleasant veneer to this hotel that fails to cover up inattentive cleaning and service. It was a disappointing place where the photos and reviews were much better than reality. We wondered if there was a new management that was cutting back on services and staff."

"The hotel is conveniently l I hated in Manitou, Every member of the staff that we ran across was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is the eggs at breakfast. I am not a fan of powdered eggs. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends."

"Facility was clean and staff was very courteous and helpful. Property is in need of a lot of maintenance....worn carpets, scratches and dents in the furniture pieces, light fixtures that did not work, damaged corridor walls, etc. Rooms facing the Interstate are noisy from traffic. Overall, an OK place for the price but definitely a budget motel"
