"Upon check in we were not informed that there wouldn’t be any housekeeping services. On day 2 when we requested housekeeping on our way out for the day, we still were not informed. It wasn’t until we returned to our room after 10:00pm to message on our room phone stating that due to Covid there would be no housekeeping. The next morning on our way out we expressed our displeasure and asked for towels to be delivered to which we were told we can wait and take them to the room ourselves! We said we were leaving and would like them delivered and she then proceeded to tell us that she would hold them at the desk and we could pick them up when we return. I was absolutely dumbfounded by the lack of customer service. This woman was so rude and disrespectful and had to have the last word. You’d think that due to Covid they would want to keep the place extra clean, but that was not at all the case. Due to the lack of housekeeping the guests were putting all of their trash and dirty linens in the hallways to get it out of their rooms. Sometimes it would take all day for the staff to clean this up. If you’re going to use Covid as an excuse, don’t you think you should be cleaning the common areas like the lobby and elevators? These areas were absolutely filthy. Never once did we witness anyone cleaning the common areas or wiping down elevator buttons. The one day they did vacuum they couldn’t even be bothered to do the corners. Trash cans over flowing everywhere. Just gross. "
