She said to check in after four when it clearly saids three asked us to check out early , outside patio lights not working. My disabled veteran fell and instead of being empathetic she said not her fault we do not know how to use our phone flashlights.

We stayed at this house for 2 nights while in town for a TTU game. 4 adults, 4 teens, no pets. The house is old and a bit outdated but overall clean and cozy as described. The kitchen was functional and stocked with enough to prepare and serve meals. It’s a typical college house. If you’re looking for a hotel-like vibe this is not the place. If you’re looking for a budget friendly place to sleep and shower, this will do. Water pressure was excellent, although the hot water ran out quickly. Communication was very good and we had no issues during our stay.

First and most important the house was not remotely clean. I dropped a piece of ice on the floor and after I picked it up wiped the floor with a paper towel and it was brown after I wiped the water up. There were lots of things that looked run down (baseboards, walls, busted blinds) which ok, it’s a budget house. A brown stained toilet and shower though are beyond budget and fall into gross. The kitchen was missing so many things it was practically unusable. Utensils mixing bowls measuring cups etcThe mattresses were ok, the pillows were about as useful as towels rolled up and put in a pillow case. The comforters on the bed were dirty. The sheets and towels were such low quality and old they look like they were purchased at a budget goodwill. The location was great and the host was very responsive when contacted regarding the internet not working and provided towels for kitchen that were not there at arrival. If you need a dirt cheap place to stay and don’t mind cleaning some things yourself when you get there then stay here. I would compare this to a Motel 8 or low level La Quinta and do not recommend.
