Pros: NONE
We had booked a non-smoking studio suite with a balcony at Palms place on two different reservations with one day difference mostly to assess their rooms and service since we had read some really bad ratings about this property recently. We stayed there for the first night on October 18th 2017 to October 19th 2017. While we specifically mentioned that both my wife and I are very sensitive to smell of smoke, the first room given to us was saturated with heavy smoke coming out of everywhere. We requested them to switch the room. The second room was even worse; on the top of the smell of group smoking, there was a heavy deodorant sprayed in the air which I assume is their CREATIVE solution to ditch guests and try to hide the smoking problem. We requested a THIRD room (just imagine you have to go through this after being on a very long flight and almost at 12 a.m.!) Another jewel from the outstanding management at Palms place was that the balcony doors were locked!!! Their balconies are basically the most important feature they can offer on their rooms and if that is non-existent, there is little to no reason to stay in a hotel/casino far away from strip! To make the package complete, we found make-up on the bed sheet.... who knows what else was there that we didn't see ( this is was in the last room after switching us twice). We requested a room service after mid-night; we practically were sleeping on the chairs at this point.... completely disappointing. STAY FAR AWAY!!!

First off, this hotel is not on the strip. Good news is that it's still close to the strip, about half a mile. $7 Uber, if anything. Also, it's behind the regular palms hotel casino. Other than that, awesome sized rooms, nice showers, very clean facility. Very helpful staff. I absolutely loved my stay.

The Hotel is great, it has a boutique feel.

The Hotel is great the housekeeping and pool staff are great, the front desk is not the friendliest which was the case a year ago as well. We had a delay in our flight and made it the hotel at 4:00 am the following day, the hotel was full and we received a room that had been sprayed for a bad smell, sure enough the room smelled of sewer. We had to sleep I. The room until around 2:00 pm when a room became available. After the room switch things were absolutely awesome! The pool on the sixth floor gets a nice breeze that's helps with the 108 temperature. Bed is very comfortable, room is big, views are great. Room has a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher so we were able to got to the grocery store two blocks away and get some food for late night. Starbucks and Eisenstein Bagels are across the street. Love staying at this location about 8 minutes of the strip.
