"Great hotel, but it could be better!"
My wife and I went for a weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary and my birthday. The good - Check-in was a breeze and very pleasant (Thanks Jeffrey!). We got upgraded to a better view and were given 2 complementary glasses of champagne. Outside the hotel looks well maintained. The location is amazing. You can walk to the Parks use the ferry boats. The bad - Be prepared to pay a parking fee of $18 and a hotel fee of $25 + tax per day that seems very ridiculous. We paid an additional $95 for a weekend stay (F-Sun). Also will give a D- to the cleaning crew. The room look old and not well maintained. The room felt like if it wasn't well cleaned and and did't smell good. The A/C duct and the ceiling had a lot of dust. The tub was had several hairs and it did't drained well, it took all night for the water to drain completely, we had to call maintenance the next morning to get it fixed. The security lock on the door was very loose and old. The next day the house keeper came and the room felt a little cleaner, but first impression is the one that counts. Also, when we came in, there was a tray full of uneaten food on front of the room next to ours and it wasn't until Sunday morning that some one took the courtesy to pick it up. Basically the tray stood there whole weekend, the cleaning crew ignored it every time. The furniture looks and feel very worn-out. In overall, the room needs a mayor renovation and the cleaning crew needs a to be re-trained!

"Great running trail and fitness facility, smallrm"
Running trail was awesome, great fitness facilities for a hotel, very clean room, nice quick service meal spot, healthy choices, great pool, noisy due to water falls and geiser. Room was small for 4 people, nice bathroom with two sinks. 6th floor balcony was smaller than lower levels.

"Disneys Animal KIngdom Kidani Villas"
This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The staff were all very accomodating ,warm and helpful, We sat on our veranda and watched giraffes, antelopes, zebras .... The 2bd,3 bath villa was very spacious with a well stocked kitchen and more than enough room for us (six of us) Only request would be for a restaurant or casual eating place that offers a light fare such as burgers, salads. The buses to the parks ran very well but keep in mind most areas are a bit of a ride including Animal Kingdom. Magical Express was also terrific. Overall a great trip!!

"Great Resort! Great Location!"
We stay at this resort every year. It's a great place to stay. The villas are very roomy for a family - we get the 2 bedroom unit. Try to request a unit with 2 queen beds in the one bedroom. There aren't that many of those (normally has one queen and a sofa bed in one bedroom) but if you get one, it's even more comfortable. The location is great. You can walk to EPCOT. If you've been running around all day and then take a break, you can then walk over to EPCOT in the evening to spend a few hours. We always seem to end up at the Boulangerie Pâtisserie for dessert (in addition to the frozen gray goose lemonade adult beverage!) Also a walk to the Boardwalk. Unlike some other resorts, you don't feel stranded at this one since there's plenty to see and do within a reasonable walking distance.

"Nice quite clean place"
The room was quiet and clean. We were close to the monorail, the Magic Kingdom, just a short walk to boating activities and the pool. We had a problem with light bulbs in the bathroom as they kept burning out on us--but this was addressed right away, lol.

LOVED the resort!! It had everything we needed. There was a variety of restaurants and dinner shows to choose from as well as gift shops and convenience stores located in the resort. The monorail and shuttles to other Disney parks and resorts were available right outside the front door! The staff are helpful, friendly and cheerful. My four year old daughter was always addressed as "Princess" by the staff members which I thought was really cute. There was so much to do I don't think we had enough time to experience it all. In the evenings we made smores on the beach and watched a Disney movie on a big blow up screen. The atmosphere of the resort was priceless.

"Most convenient hotel in WDW. "
Best pool complex in Disney. Water slide, hot tub, lazy river, secluded bar with quick food. Movies and s'mores on the beach each evening. Short Walk to Epcot rear entrance (France) with access to monorail. Water access or 10 min. Walk to Hollywood studios. Buffet off lobby at Cape May Cafe best meal we had (twice) during our stay. Reasonably priced laundry on site. Bus wait lines shorter than others at all parks. I am frugal but after six different stays, this resort is worth every penny extra you will spend over other on site resorts.

"Truly my Home away from Home"
SSR is our home resort as Disney Vacation Club members. Our first stay at this resort was in March 2005. We absolutely fell in love with our 2 bedroom from the moment we walked in the door. We have been to other vacation club properties; however, our 2 sons insist on SSR because they love it as much as we do. We have been to SSR 6 times since 2004 and are looking forward to planning a 3 bedroom vacation in March 2013! The Artist's Palette (quick service restaurant) is beautiful and we LOVE the cheeseburger flatbread pizzas! We typically request the Springs Villas because they are the most convenient villas to the Main pool and the Artist's Palette; however, we are looking at staying in a different section for 2013! My boys and husband LOVE the Lake Buena Vista golf course! The customer service is top notch like everything Disney does!! The resort also has a tennis court and small basketball court. Community Hall has crafts daily, a ping pong table and Playstation3 or similar type games that kids can play for free!! SSR is definitely a resort to visit if you truly just want to rest and relax!!
