Property was under major construction and had no clue until arrived. Construction started the next day at 7am on the floor right above us and made for a horrible stay

Room was large and well-appointed. Getting inside our room with a luggage carrier was difficult. The entrance foyer was so narrow the carrier barely fit. Couldn’t get any hot water in the shower, just luke warm. There was firefighter training being conducted on Saturday inside the hallways and stair wells. That same morning the fire alarm in our room went off at 7:30 AM, though there was no emergency. Not a nice wake up. There was construction work occurring while we were there, but it was only a mild nuisance. Staff was very nice. However, we expected much more from a Hilton. If we had known all this before we booked, we would have chosen another hotel.

Our room has ocean view. It’s so nice to hear the ocean waves when we are at the balcony. We also saw amazing moonlight over the ocean and the stunning sunrise next morning. The beach is clean and quiet and right outside the hotel.

When registering for stay website showed breakfast included. Side door did not work had to use front door, up elevator and walk down steps to open from inside to let us in with dog. Maintenance was to fix but did not.

Great location on the Outer banks. Easy access to a shoreline road to/from Nags Head without all the hooplah on the main drag. Could easily go from one direction to the other on the outer banks. We would stay again.

The hotel is very nice and accommodating. The main lobby was under construction, but it was not a problem for us. The pool and deck on the oceanside were very nice. I like that it is pet friendly.
