"The room was dirty and staff was very unhelpful. This is the first hotel I’ve seen that doesn’t have a cart to help carry your belongings upstairs to your room."

"Checkin Process slow booking advised that checkin available at 2, room available at 330pm Maintenance poor, front doors wouldn’t lock properly, not all lights working, damage in room in. Small beds. I am 6 ft 1 inch and bed small and two short. Limited front desk staffing eg no one on desk at 9am in morning on several days. Was promised 3 times in writing by Hotel that would get Private Guest Club but this never happened despite multiple requests. Whilst towels were change regularly no amenities were refreshed or bedding changes over the 3 nights. A disappointment after having staying the previous nights at 4 fantastic hotels in major cities in the US . Made booking through Expedia who I have used for 25 years and the customer service was appalling. Highly recommend visiting Chicago great city just don’t stay here."

"Our AC was broken and it was probably about 80 degrees in the room, we notified the staff and requested maintenance and the front desk staff said they would send someone and/or change our room but neither happened and it wasn’t followed up with so we had to keep our room door propped open to get some air. Housekeeping also never came to our room so we had to go ask for garbage bags to discard our trash. We also requested more towels and instead of the front desk giving us a few, they said they would be sent to our room and again, never came. Horribly inattentive staff and not at all worth a $500 2 night stay. Please do better"

"The room was difficult to stay cool. The hotel is in a perfect location, close to restaurants & bars. We walked to Cubs game!"
