Amazing stay. Excellent staff. Top-notch food especially if you book the à la carte restaurants. Only damper the reason why I gave less than 5, they tried push selling a travel club thing for 12k that was never going to happen. Wasted 2 hrs and the mood at the end when they tried pushing the sale.

We were upgraded to a larger room with a living room which was nice since we had our toddler and extra room is good. Our view from room was not a nice “garden view” I recommend a pool view. Special thanks to their partnership with Expedia, because the vip package gave us a “special” bracelet -not the paper plastic one, ours had twine strap with a wood charm that served as our key to our room- that gave us all access to multiple amenities at the neighbor palladium hotels, we stayed at white sands but the colonial had the water park- we were able to get golfcarted everywhere. I would say white sands was too quiet for us (we’re party parents) kantenah is a happy middle and colonial is the family hotel. They’re all very nice. TRS is also too quiet, it’s promoted as all adults (think older adults, not party adults). The alcohol beverages are better than what I’ve experienced at an all inclusive resort, lots of diverse alcohol options not bottom shelf. Make dinner reservations for ALL of your dinners the moment you arrive or you’ll be stuck eating at the buffet. I was not a fan of the buffets- if it weren’t for the omelet maker I would have been sad, the pastries were stale everyday. The lamps stay overheating and over drying everything. That being said, the dinners at the reserved restaurants were fab.

The all-inclusive package truly delivers on its promise. There are no hidden fees. For Expedia customers, the resort provided a butler service and VIP tag for their entire stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, generously portioned, and drinks were plentiful. The private beaches were pristine. Everything was great. The staff were incredible, and the resort was so clean. The website is probably the least useful tool there is to you, but their app is pretty good. They have 8 sit down restaurants, and you should definitely book reservations for, they do sell out. There are also buffets, breakfast and lunch were good, dinner was disappointing but the sit down food is incredible. There is one 24 hour restaurant at the Colonial, and the food is pretty good there too, this is mostly American style food here. The beach at white sands specifically is rocky and not very useably, but it is beautiful, you get access to the other Grand Palladio resorts on property, so we went to the Colonial beach and it was perfect. We liked White Sands because it was quiet, not too loud despite there being lots of people. The colonial was much more lively as they have entertainment every night, and they host weddings, but there is always something cool to check out there. We enjoyed walking over after dinner and seeing the live bands, dancers and activities.

Terrible beds. And room service was kind of terrible. But overall the property looked super clean even though there was some construction going on. Plenty of food of decent variety but the food quality was just ok. Steaks are thin and well done no matter what. Burgers were terrible. And for some reason i tasted margarine in every dish. Why??? Service was good. One thing i would want them to change is to slow those carts down. Few times i had to jump out of the way and watched other people do the same thing. Always scary when they zoom around kids at that speed. So if you planning to go with kids keep an eye on them at all times. Beach side was really clean and neat. I did enjoy ocean a-lot but bring your water shoes. Its a must if you planning to spend time in the ocean. Beach side bars had good selection of drinks and refreshments. "Family selection" is a good addition if coming with kids. What kid doesn't like Ice cream and popcorn by the beach all day long? Pool looked clean and well organized but thats all i can say about that.

The pools are great, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. Food options and quality could be improved, and I definitely recommend booking the adults-only TRS section for a better experience. Most of the staff provided excellent service, but the pool bar at White Sands was a bit slow, and at times, it felt like we were being overlooked.
