The hotel is in a great location with close walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean, and breakfast was enjoyable.

First, the front desk person came across like we were asking for something ridiculous when we inquired about possible early check in…..She was far from what is expected of Hilton standards and was more like someone running a low budget Mom and Pop roadside motel. The lady that actually checked us in was very courteous and the room was nice but we paid extra for a fireplace as the weather had turned very cold. No one told us the fireplace weren’t working until I called down to front desk….there was no effort to compensate us or make amends in any way…….it was like, oh sorry, they just don’t work…. This was an important part of our honeymoon and I am very disappointed in Hilton Hotels over this…..Perhaps next time, I’ll book elsewhere……

The breakfast staff was very courteous and helpful BOTH mornings we were there. On the negative side the room was a handicap one although we did not request it and when you took a shower water spilled out onto the floor because the shower curtain was too short. Loved the proximity of the hotel to the downtown area.

We liked the setup of the rooms. They had a living area and small kitchen table. It gave us a lot more space than a typical hotel room. The breakfast was very good. Everything was decorated so nice for Christmas. The cookies and hot chocolate in the lobby were a nice touch!
