This was one of the worse hotels I've ever stayed at/paid for. We stayed at Stone Hill and we were misled from the beginning. Paying over $300 a night for the room you would expect certain benefits to come with the room. So we were under the assumption that the $40 per person resort fee extra was for all the activities. But no it was for a wristband which got you into the room, and only Waterpark area open for 4 buildings, coffee, and pool towels. None of the other activites for the season/ fall and winter were included as advertising make you believe. Then upon check in the lady spoke so fast we couldn't keep up as to where anything was, anything we needed and called for we had to go to front desk to get, we had to call maintenance because our smoke detector was chirping and needed a battery, they came up and instead of bringing a battery they unplugged it from the hard wire and placed it on a shelf for the rest of our stay. We had employees roll there eyes at us for having a full elevator and they couldn't get on. The ice machine has a not to limit our ice, the dryer on our floor was broken, there was only one set of entrances into this building or exit from this building. Except for emergency doors in stairways. The walk to your rooms were absolutely crazy. Took my 10 minutes from car to get to and from room each time you had to walk from only entrance at front of hotel to entire other end of hotel to get to elevators to go to room floors then back again to rooms

The rooms were clean but the staff was not very commutative about what times the indoor water park closed & was very limited with helping with certain areas of the resort. Do not recommend staying through the week days if you plan on using the indoor water parks after 8pm

Great time making memories

We had a great time, with plenty to do! We stayed at the Stone Hill Lodge. It’s on the hill above the Wilderness and across from Soaky Mountain. Shuttles ran frequently so we were able to go to main water dome and also go to Soaky Mountain. May not be convenient for smaller children; but I have teenagers and they didn’t mind the traveling. Everything is expensive, but it’s to be expected at a resort. Staff were accommodating, very friendly, and helpful. The kids want to go back on Spring Break.

The indoor/outdoor water park was nice. We booked a cabana which was great for our grandchildren and everyone actually. Food was good no matter what we ordered. Did not like the pillows in bedroom. The rooms needed a little TLC done with some minor fixes, but overall a nice room.

Nice place for family vacation, but rooms are old.

Room was good, but the water was dripping from the air conditioning outside unit, and it was very annoying and it never was fixed after our request to fix it.

We didn't get the food there, but other people did and it smelled great! The bed was stiff, but that is to be expected at most hotels so no worries there. We got checked in by Kate B, and she was very sweet and welcoming. She answered all our questions, and made us feel comfortable. Thank you!! :) We had a great time, the room was clean and quiet, the water parks were awesome! Me and my fiance will be coming back for sure.
SO cool at nighttime!!
