Not what we expected
So we arrive at the rental, no access email no anything. I call the host to find out she hadn’t seen the rental and it’s not cleaned yet. So we’re told it’ll be a couple hours and this at 6:20, 2 hours and 20 mins after I was supposed to have access and I’d just driven 5 hrs to get there. So I go to dinner and see a couple sites then call her and she’s in the rental trying to turbo clean it the best she can. We finally get access 4 hrs later and it’s “Clean”. The bed was fresh but a lot was not done. We have never been to Dandridge and little did we know that this historic home sits on the main downtown intersection where people will be cruising all night long revving their engines blaring their music and every single person coming off the lake has to bring their giant truck pulling a boat through the traffic light that’s 8 feet from your bedroom. It was the worst sleep ever! Fast Forward to Saturday morning where my fiancé made the mistake of walking barefoot to the living room, little did we know that Flooring by the entry door was nailed down with tiny Brad nails that poke up through the floor when you step down on the laminate flooring and will cut your feet so that will need to be addressed immediately. The Good are location to sites, the kitchen was well appointed, plenty of coffee options were given, parking is excellent, TV with lots of channels, good WiFi, host was friendly, I’m expecting a partial refund.
