Citrus Heights Hotel & Travel Guide\n
Beyond the doors of hotels in Citrus Heights, CA is a friendly suburban community full of people who move about a landscape dotted with parks, small businesses, and schools just beyond the busy hub of Sacramento. While exploring shops near one of our Citrus Heights hotels at the town center or strolling one of the manicured parks, reflect on the fact that this place, while foreign to you, is home to others, and perhaps your experiences are not so different.
Visiting Citrus Heights
The philosopher Dagobert D. Runes once noted that "People travel to faraway places to watch, in fascination, the kind of people they ignore at home." While cruising about town in one of our Citrus Heights rental cars, it's easy to feel that the experience of the people you see walking the sidewalks or playing in the park is vastly separate from your own, but the longer you stay, the more that seems to change. Spend a day enjoying the sunshine on your face from a bench in Rusch Community Park and watch as familiar sights break through the cloak of unfamiliarity. Families attend little league baseball games, children splash in the public pool, and joggers run by with their dogs trotting alongside. By the time you return to one of the hotels near Citrus Heights, CA, it's hard not to feel new understanding unfolding, perhaps leading to a new perspective on life in your own hometown and your own place in the community.
Continue your exploration of daily life in foreign towns with a few days in the state's capital. Walk the halls of the Crocker Art Museum or admire antique cars at the California Automobile Museum, and leave the logistics to Travelocity. We'll help you sort through all the great hotels in Sacramento to find the one that's perfect for you and provides a pleasant place to return in the evening to reflect on the ways your travels have shaped your understanding of the world.
