Everything was fantastic except for the shower. The water pressure was so poor it took forever to rinse off. It was like bird spit.

They Had Ants!

Pros: New, modern, sleek and generally comfortable.
Cons: They should remodel room 517 and increase the sound proofing between that room and the mechanical room. They need better soundproofing in the halls.
Location: You can't get closer to Golden Arena for basketball and there are many choices of places to eat within walking distance.
They seemed to be coming from behind the padded wall where it meets the desk. Don't leave food out! Also, avoid room 517 as it is next to a "Mechanical" room and you will hear the most maddening hum from around 11pm to 2am and again from 4am to 7am. The sound will ramp up, increasing in volume and then cycle back down again. It definitely disturbed my sleep. This is a hip, trendy and modern hotel, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was especially nice. As a hip and trendy establishment and super close to the basketball arena, the partying is frequent and loud. Don't be surprised to hear people yelling, laughing and falling into walls in the hall, until the wee hours of the morning.

Hi Heather Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to give your feedback. There is no excuse for the feedback you mentioned . I have shared your comments with our management staff to ensure other guests are not subjected to similar problems. Your experience certainly does not in any way represent the quality of standards we strive to, and indeed customarily maintain at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel.

Wonderful, pleasurable stay.... This is a busy hotel. I think they could do with a concierge desk or more staff at the front desk for that reason. We we're put on hold before checking in longer than we should have been and a call for extra towels took a little bit of time. All in all, the hotel is a nice marriage of posh and modern with a great outdoor pool with cabanas. There are mainly adults, but our two 13 year olds fit in just fine. Valet parking is the way to go. We will return happily.

Stressful and Disappointing.

Pros: Staff was trying to accommodate us as best they could. Was told Manager was going to call, never did. Was in a meeting when I checked out. Given card.
Cons: All of it!! Need to have rooms/bed linens checked for cleanliness!
Location: Did not have a chance to get outside, too busy trying to get a bit of anything positive into the evening. Left early for a wedding the next morning.
We arrived and the staff was nice, gave us information on the hotel, very quickly. We had a long day and were very tired. Heard steakhouse, dress casual on third floor and something on the second floor. Nothing in room to really give you a good idea of all of the facilities and any other local eateries. We got settled quickly and headed to the second floor, very loud! Asked if we could get a quiet table away from the noise, no section not open. Asked if the restaurant downstairs was still opened and they told us we are not affiliated with them. Asked if they could possibly find out for us, they told us it had closed early. As we did not have appropriate "Dress Casual" for the establishment on the third floor, we had no choice to eat here. It was an arcade style place with a large bar and LOTS of noise. We again asked to be seated in the quieter area, as we just wanted to relax and have a quiet dinner together before we went to bed. They sat us right next to the bar, we could not even hear each other unless we yelled. Ate dinner, not bad food, bar food good drinks. Went up to bed pulled back the sheers, sheets are dirty! Called and they sent housekeeping up to change out linens. They gave us sheets and I took them and made the bed myself. Went to put the comforter back on, large stain in middle of comforter that had been turned under to not be seen. Called again and they came up with new clean comforter. At that point I was done. They comped or parking and our breakfast.
