The people below us banged on our ceiling and continuously called the front desk on us for simply walking around our room. If I got up to pee in the middle of the night I had to try to take very slow and careful steps. I told staff about the issue three times and they did not resolve in any way. They should have moved our room or given us some type of compensation for the trouble but did not. They sent a security guard to our room at 3 or 4 in the morning because we got up to walk to the bathroom. Just absolutely ridiculous. Don’t stay here unless you’re as silent as a mouse.

I love the location and pet policy. The rooms are spacious. Unfortunately, the rooms can be dirty. We always check under the bed since we travel with our dog. Our room this time had so much dirt and garbage under the bed. Also, once their “deodorizer” wore off, the bathroom had a strong urine smell. The property is old so perhaps the smell has permeated the drywall and grout but I think it was from spray on the shower curtain.

I am not sure where it was stated when I checked in, but was surprised to be charged $10 per day for parking. This should be clearly stated when booking and at the front desk. Compared to my stay at the same hotel one year ago, the 'free' breakfast was minimal

There were ants in our room. We heard some of the cleaning ladies talking about bed bugs. People across from us were blasting music while trying to sleep. They also never came into our room to clean it or give new towels
