Good location

Pros: Great location
Arrived after midnight on the first night of a 3 night stay with our room window facing a 40 story cement wall. After calling hotel staff gave us complimentary breakfast vouchers & told us they would move us first thing the next morning. We did get our complimentary breakfast but never heard about a different room until we called down around 4 pm. They did immediately get us into another room. But the carpet was soaked on one side of the bed. Overall just not impressed with what we got for the money. I've been to Chicago dozens of times.

Great location, near everything!

Just a few minutes walk from all the tourist attractions. Right on the Mag Mile for your shopping convenience. Its a busy hotel. Nice lil sundeck in the pool area with a good view of the city. Great spot for a glass of wine and watch the city lights at night. The room was comfortable, lots of pillows on the beds, but the sheets were not changed even if they clearly had a spill or stain on them. Beds were made up using the same soiled sheet. Big disappointment for me.

Made our trip special

Pros: Pretty much everything. Staff rooms location.
Cons: 4$ for a soda from the sundry shop is excessive I think. Housekeeping kept knocking on our door on checkout mornng.
Location: Michigan avenue shopping. Navy pier is close enough to walk to. Many great restaurants are nearby too.
We were celebrating anniversaries with friends and were treated extremely well. We both received champagne and a dmall dessert upon our arrival. Rooms always clean. Plenty of towels. The hotel was within walking distance yo almost everything. Cabs and buses were right outside if needed. The staff was informed and accommodating. It was a great stay.

25th wedding anniversary get away trip!

This was the "first leg" of a series of trips the second half of this year to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this fall, and we had a GREAT stay in Chicago at this Omni and it's location was really good for our first trip to Chicago. Right on the Magnificent Mile and a short walk to the Red Line stop on Chicago Ave (which we took up north to our Wrigley Field tour and down south to the river for our Architecture Boat Cruise). Also a short walk from the hotel to Hancock Tower's 95th floor awesome views, and a longer but certainly manageable walk to the Navy Pier. Lastly, Uber was easy and cheap to get to and from anywhere else we chose to go from our hotel. We had a nice view from our 23rd floor room, the suite was really comfy and large, bathroom was ample, and the rooms had a good flow to them (able to access all room two different ways). One of the really nice options was to be able to get both a minifridge and a microwave brought up to our room - at no charge! Lastly, they treated us with a complimentary bottle of champagne and delicious cheese/meat tray as an anniversary treat our first night there. The front desk staff was SO NICE and friendly, and extremely helpful with directions and suggestions, as were the bellman downstairs. The only oddity is the need to take an elevator to the 3rd floor registration area before taking another elevator up to your room, but that was a minor issue. Highly recommend this hotel & it is priced very competitively!

Nice hotel and very close to the Navy Pier!

Pros: Location
Cons: Just a little "dated", but I know any updates would signify an increase in the room rate, and I am not sure I want that enough to justify doing it.
Location: Navy Pier, John Hancock Building, Portillos and other great restaurants just a few blocks away walking distance.
I was very pleased with the Omni Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and that made the trip special. The location is second to none. The rooms were fine (not very large) and comfortable.

Great hotel on the Magnificent Mile

Pros: They have complimentary umbrellas to use if the weather looks like rain. The room was really a suite with living room and bedroom.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: It is in a he heart of the shopping area, about a mile or less from the Art Institute and Millennium Park. Great restaurants in easy walking distance.
This is an excellent hotel in a great location. All of the staff are competent and friendly. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable.

Very nice, fantastic location for our anniversary

Pros: Hotel staff, cleanliness, modern, value
Cons: I don't have anything to suggest!
Location: In River North- lots of wonderful restaurants nearby, right off oc Michigan Ave. with lots of shopping.
The Bell Hop was fantastic. Overly friendly, he really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and happy. Our room was nice as well. I don't have much of anything bad to say about our stay, which is a good problem!

Great location, in the heart of Chicago's Mag Mile

Pros: The staff, the location, the room service.
Location: Excellent restaurants, shopping, transporation.
We arrived for our stay in the middle of night, and found awake staff who were very accommodating. They left little treats for our three children, which were sorely needed. The workout room, and pool were good as well. Not a bad thing to say.
