Both nights we were there we heard loud music and voices way past 1:00 am. It took repeated calls to the front desk before anyone from the hotel acted to stop the noise. We won't stay there again.

The room was dirty. The walls are peeling and the art painted on the wall is cracked and faded. The bathtub shower didn’t work. The breakfast dis not include any vegetarian items that don’t taste like meat. I see now why this hotel cost lower. It was very poor quality and I won’t be back unless they paint the walls and fix the water damage from the floor above seeping into the ceiling. I’m so disappointed with my stay.

The Loft was great. However the representation from Expedia has been very disappointing. I had attempted several times to speak with Expedia Customer Representatives, its seems as if Expedia doesn't care about the consumer. I made a reservation Jan 9th -11th due to flying into Chicago early, I went online to add an additional day,on the 8th, however it was not clear to that the reservation I paid for would be switch out and cancelled. I immediately reached out to Expedia once I realized I made the mistake . I chatted with a representative and explained several times, I didn't want a refund,( I never wanted a refund) I just wanted to make that my previous confirmation of the 9th - 11, would be added to the 8th. I was told the CSR with Expedia would reach out to the hotel and in 24 to 448 hours, I would receive email correspondence. When I receivd the email corrrespondence, it stated I had been denied a refund. I reached by chat and phone, I was told to contact the hotel , in which I did and they were able to reinstate the the entire stay. Great, well within 24 hours,Expedia contact the hotel and reniged. The hotel told me they sent the money back and that I would be refunded from Expedia. This has been terrible experience with EXPEDIA! I would like a credit or a refund of my money. i have an email from the Hotel, with the details of all communitcation. Thanks

Our family enjoyed a long birthday weekend stay at Aloft Mag Mile. It’s in a great location within walking distance to many points of interest (Millenium Park, Navy Pier, Magnificent Mile shops and eateries, and much more). The front desk staff was friendly and attentive and the valet staff service was friendly and prompt. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We were afraid it might be noisy at night, but it wasn’t during our stay. There aren’t microwaves in the rooms, which is understandable to prevent bugs. Our daughter enjoyed taking her leftovers downstairs to warm up in the microwave available in the common area then grabbing a mocktail from the W XYZ bar. The only recommendation I would share with management would be to change out or clean the window shades. We’ve been staying at Aloft hotels for over ten years, and we would recommend this one.
