Had a good stay at this location. Had some issues with the TV and the remote control. But the front desk quickly fixed the issue. There are a variety of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. As well as Carolina Place Mall. Carowinds is nearby. You can practically walk to South Carolina from where you are. Overall, my experience was great.

Upon arrival, it was observed that the pillowcase was not clean, the surfaces were grimy, and the bathroom sink drained EXTREMELY slow. The front desk attendant, Jen, was attentive and quickly replaced the linen. Jen advised notifying maintenance in the morning of the drain. The following morning, maintenance was notified of the drain issue and the standing water in the sink. They stated they would respond immediately, However, hours later the problem remained. When Jen was informed that the persisted, she advised to speak with the manager the following morning. The following morning, no manager was present to address the issue. A subsequent phone call from management was promised to address the ongoing concerns later that day and discuss compensation. The phone call has never been received to address any concerns. Parking is the only adequate part of the visit. It is advised to refrain from staying at this hotel.

Suite 408 had problems. Thermostats didn’t work properly. Not enough light bulbs in overhead light in living room. Floor lamp in living room was plugged into a socket that was hanging out of the wall, with exposed wires. It was dirty under the nightstand, between the beds, and there is a candy bar wrapper there also. Something was spilled in the elevator and it was not cleaned up for a day and a half. The hall carpet needed to be vacuumed. This is not the quality that I am accustomed to when I stay at Hampton Inns. It was disappointing.

Got a great price- but we did remove our Do Not Disturb sign on our 3rd day in hopes of getting fresh towels , coffee etc. and it was not noticed -so after being gone all day, we did not have clean towels or coffee for the morning. I could requested it but it was so late and we were exhausted after helping our daughter get moved.

Turned out to be a very good place to stay. I was attending a multi-day event in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and this hotel is conveniently in between that location and the Charlotte airport. Made for easy driving while there and easy driving getting away. One of the desk clerks was particularly amiable and helpful. The breakfast in the breakfast lobby was very nice and varied. Accessible bathroom has lots of grab bars, open floor, detachable shower head. Efficient "barn" door covers closet or bathroom walkthrough (one are the other). Needs an interior central handle to open door when in the BA. Out of shampoo but sufficient shower gel and nicely-scented body lotion. Limited television stations but not why I was present (so ultimately, it didn’t matter). Very comfortable mattress. Fridge and coffeemakerin room but no microwave. I used the one in the breakfast area. Like the basket drawers in main dresser and coat hooks. I'd return here easily, next time in greater Charlotte.

Room dirty and untidy, missing linens, phone did not work had to collect our own sofa bed linens and towels, requested room to be serviced but no one came, left with a pile of trash cause no housekeeping, someone spilled eggs in the hallway carpet was there our entire three nights. Phone did not work, breakfast was the same everyday, tested like leftovers, coffee cream was out of supply one day with no one around to request for restock. Tough to consider this a Hampton level, notwithstanding a Hilton brand. Find another option.
