the hotel was in the middle of a construction project that resulted in the lobby and other parts of the building being in disarray and dangerous. There were extension cords draped haphazardly on the floors in various spots. There were barricades throughout and drywall mud dropping throughout. The very worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. Will not be booking any future hotel stays with this hotel chain.

Worst stay in cary ever

Property interior was in horrendous condition due to remodeling. We should have been told this as their were dozens of options nearby. No housekeeping, extremely loud flush to toilet. Noise from pounding and hammering from first thing in the a.m. then all day long.

The hotel was din poor condition, the hallways smelled of smoke. My first room the curtains were broken and not able to open, so I requested a different room, The furniture was beat up, now floor towel for the shower. Finally, the breakfast was awful and served with a "spork" as they were two cheap to have a separate spoon and fork. Only decaffinated tea or coffee.

The property was under construction and the entire first floor was not in service. Our first room was just very disheveled and the sheets and mattress was HEAVILY stained. The man at the front desk was very kind and found us a different room, but attributed the first room's conditions being due to the remodeling. We were also able to check in early before 3pm, but I feel that if the room wasn't properly cleaned we should have been told to wait till normal time. Usually I have no issues with La Quinta and find them very nice for the price but this one had not advertised or made us aware that it was under construction. I don't think I would visit this one again unless guaranteed the remodeling is completed to ensure better quality.

Beds were not good. Itched all night from the sheets. Room was old and bathroom had patched walls in shower. Almost slipped in tub. Halls smelled badly of some sort of perfumy deodorizer. It was over powering. Bedside light didn't work and couldn't reach the switch from the bed anyway.

Upon arrival I was told my reservation was canceled had to go through the most to check in is #1. 2 when I wake up at 9 went to get breakfast remind u I asked for late check front desk name Sam agreed. I get back to the room around 9:30 and had smoked on my way to get breakfast, never ever smoked in a hotel. Get to my room door and it’s opened all linen’s off bed paper work and soda gone. I had to go to front desk tell them there check out and he insisted that no one enter my room, so the housekeeper remakes the bed up I nap for a hour till check out. I leave the room at 12 check my bank account and they took 250 dollars out of my account. I instantly call them and I was told the someone said I smelled like smoke that’s why and got rude and told me I can’t get my money back take it up with my bank . I told her people smoke in there cars or wherever all the time one of the guest over heard our conversation and said that he smoked she told him he was ok. I feel scammed, discriminated against and robbed this is not right and will be going further if this is not resolved.
