It was hidden away from traffic which was nice. They advertised an indoor pool, which is why we book it. We went down to the pool and it was green and temporarily closed. The front desk and manager did not even know it was closed. When we arrived at the room, the toilet was clogged. We notified the front desk and was told that there was no one to fix it but we were instructed to come to the front desk and get a plunger so we could plunge it ourselves. We won’t be back!

I enjoyed a four day stay. The location is quiet and away from the major traffic corridor. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean and refurbished as I requested. Two improvements I suggest: First, the pool needs immediate attention; and second, the breakfast buffet needs improvements beyond frozen foods reheated to lukewarm.

After checking in, I left for dinner and upon my return I had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke from 2 ladies. One was the front desk clerk, and the other was a woman who was standing at the desk chatting when I first checked in. I am guessing she was a friend based on the conversations I heard. I don't smoke and don't like my clothes to smell like it. They were standing at the front door, just outside. Also I ended up standing in an inch of water in the tub after my shower was complete...apparently the drain was clogged. There was a huge commotion out in the parking lot late that night. I could hear men yelling and cursing at each other.

TV did not work in the first room, but the staff took care of it perfectly. The breakfast food was not good. The staff was very nice, but the food products were not good.

Just okay

When we got there, unlike the website said, they actually are not pet friendly. So, we had to find other accommodations for our two tiny dogs. Then there was not a cart for us to use when unloading our car. We had to go back and forth to our vehicle about 4 times...hard to do with an infant and a toddler in tow, and the hotel staff couldn’t help at all. The room itself was nice...very clean, and comfortable. However, our TV didn’t work. The volume was barely loud enough to hear over the AC unit, and would freeze and cut off randomly. There were times it wouldn’t even turn on. And because the staff was so unhelpful with the cart situation, we didn’t feel like dealing with them again for the TV. Would I stay there again, yes, if I had to. But on our way back through, we’ll probably try to find another hotel first.

Thank you for your response, I will like to apologize for the inconvenience first of all and also ask you if you don't mind let me know which website did you use to make the reservation that said that we are pet-friendly to correct that since we are not pet-friendly unfortunately. Regarding the luggage carts, guests take them and sometimes they don't return them back to the first floor, I understand your frustration but again it is something that we try to control as much as we can but like I mentioned before guests used them and leave them on the floors or even inside their rooms. Once again, thank you for your response and I hope we can see you again soon.

Charlotte Race Weekend

Cons: Everything
We stayed here while going to the race. Map says it's only 15 miles to track, but for some reason (even without traffic) it takes an hour to get to the track. I was really looking forward to using the pool, but at first glance it looked too green and I never used it. The breakfast was sub par also. No bottled water in the vending machines. Would not stay again.

Overall Great Hotel

Pros: very clean, and very accommodating
Location: Lots of restaurants near by and Lake Norman very close
location is a bit hard to find bc it sits back behind a few buildings and winding parking lot to get to hotel, but overall its a nice hotel
