"The staff was amazing, the rooms were clean and location was perfect. The rooms and the bathrooms were smaller than I expected but we didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel. We utilized the pool, the fire and pits and the bikes. Over all would definitely come back."

LEGOLAND California Hotel

"The Legoland Hotel combines some great features with a few odd peculiarities. The rooms are fabulously decorated and have lots of features that will appeal to children - bunkbeds, televisions, lego, and a rewarding puzzle. We had a knights and dragons room in the Castle Hotel, which was spacious and fun. It had a mini-fridge, which is good, but I think we would also have benefited from having a microwave. The room is pretty pricey for what you get, and parking at $40 a night is also pretty steep. But the benefit is that you are minutes from the front gate of Legoland and can enter the park early. The hotel has a good sized pool, which we did not use since we went to the water park in Legoland. It also has a couple of play structures which are good for a few minutes' play. Each day there are lego movies outside, which was a nice touch. The downsides: the check-in process is pretty impersonal and I found it a little difficult to find staff members to help with questions. Breakfast was included in our room rate but getting into breakfast at the restaurant was challenging: we needed to be ready to wait for around half an hour before sitting to breakfast. Since breakfast is a buffet I think it could be far better organized. It was a significant problem for us since we wanted to take advantage of the early entry to Legoland."
