For how busy of an area the resort is in, it felt so tranquil and peaceful. Definitely a little slice of paradise smacked down in the heart of Carlsbad. 10/10 would recommend & come back in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Palms Beach Resort in Carlsbad, CA from February 15–16. The property is beautifully maintained, with a relaxed coastal atmosphere that immediately made the trip feel like a true getaway. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and the resort's lush landscaping added a peaceful, private feel. One of the highlights was the location — just steps from the beach and within easy walking distance to Carlsbad Village shops and restaurants. The staff was welcoming and attentive, creating a warm and professional guest experience from check-in through departure. Overall, it was a refreshing and memorable stay, and I would absolutely return for another coastal escape. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a charming, laid-back beachside resort in North County San Diego.

The ad is misleading. It lists self parking as an amenity. I think most would interpret that as if you have a room you have a parking space. What the desk clerk explained is there are 9 spots for 52 rooms and the rest is street parking. Good luck being across the street from the beach on a holiday weekend. Had to park 5 blocks away and carry luggage. Otherwise location is great and pool and spa were very nice. Would have been a great stay without the false advertising on parking. That soured the stay before getting to the room.
