This is a nice shabby chic hotel very well located, with a lot of good shopping and restaurants at a walking distance. This is a very safe area. It is our 2nd time staying at this hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Charming hotel

Great hotel and friendly service. My daughter and I came into Boston for college tours and the hotel staff was super accommodating, welcoming and helpful. We both felt safe while staying there and looked forward to coming back each night for much needed rest. I have 4 stars for the bed, my side seemed a little used/soggy and 4 stars for the elevator (which is super slow). We would take the elevator down as it was faster. The hotel is located centrally, about two short blocks from an entrance to the T and close to Boylston & Newberry St with lots of shops and restaurants. The staff gave us recommendations for breakfast and dinner and the places did not disappoint. One last thing, we left around 5:30am and the front door staff has to unlock the door to let us out, for me, HUGE relief to know that guest’s safety is a priority. Will definitely come back and stay here.

My daughter and I were in town for the weekend for a dance convention. On our final day she said, I’m sad we’re leaving. Definitely would stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself was good, easy check in, tidy rooms, and very comfortable beds. But I have never seen such small bathrooms in a hotel room. They are very tight and not easy to move around in. I’m sure it’s an older building but still the bathrooms are crazy small. If it’s important to you to have a spacious bathroom, might not be the place for you.

The parking is $65 which is insane, we parked across the street and walked our bags over to save the $20 difference. The staff looked unkept, he had dirty long finger nails and was not friendly at all. Ine elevator is broken, and it is very small and takes forever. This place claims to be remodeled in 2022, but it was given the "landlord special" with old white paint and old carpeting in the room that was dingy. The art on the walls in the room is stickers. The bathroom door didnt close all the way because it was so old and off the hinges. The toilet paper holder was so loose the roll barely stayed on. Towels were thin and rough. The bed was extremely firm we woke up sore the next day. In the closet there was some "shady" looking plumbing with a pipe sticking out of the wall and covered with cardboard. Nothing about the property was enjoyable.
