Disappointing stay, older hotel painted up to try and hide the fact. No breakfast, only food available was vending machines. No refrigerator, no microwave. Only one coffee in the room, asked front desk for more, told me there was coffee shop a block away. Will stay somewhere else next time.

Totally overpriced during the Boston Marathon. It's a little run-down and urgently in need of updates.

It is not a very nice place yet the price was more like a 4 star hotel and it is a 2 star. One small example. I asked for a fan to be delivered to my room twice and both times I was told it would be delivered. It was never delivered

Location good

Pros: Location was close to convention center
Cons: Everything about this place should and needs to be improved, i.e., staff, facility, etc.
Cold room; the stay was unpleasant and uncomfortable; terrible facility!!!!! I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Unusual hotel, centrally located.

Pros: Cleanliness and location.
Cons: No idea.
Location: There is a new shopping mall within two blocks, with upscale shops. The gorgeous Church of Christian Science & fountain are across the street.
The hotel's location is good in that it is handy to getting to sites. The fact that the building's structure is very long and only two-stories high makes it unusual----for Boston. It was built in 1962. Our room's bathroom's electrical switches has obviously been reconfigured from the original. The room was spacious and the large window could be opened to allow in fresh air. Staff was very helpful and alert.

Affordable, down town.

Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: Not enough electrical outlets near tv. Tv was unplugged to make coffee. Pool closes a little early, 8PM.
Location: FENWAY PARK Cheese Cake Factory, Cold Stone Creamery On the Orange line Sam Adams Brewery and Doyles Pub near by
Basic motel, safe, and conviniant. Outdoor pool wonderful in summer after hot day at Fenway.

Not a Good Hotel

The staff was the only thing good about this hotel. The bathroom sink was outside of it. So you had to grab the door knob before washing after using. Plus it was like you were getting ready to take a shower while using the bathroom since it was cramed together in a small room. The beds were hard and the rug makes your feet black!! Mostly everything in the room was broken. They need to do a serious undate on everything. They charge you for parking when the daily rates changed from 129 one night to 159 the second. The fee is 29 every night you use the garage! this hotel should be condemned! Horrible, totally horrible!!

Close to Public Transportation and Fenway

This hotel looks like the 1970s but if you need a bed to sleep and a place to shower and watch TV, this is a great deal.
