This is a lovely hotel, conveniently located near Fenway Park and the Charles River Esplanade. It has an old world charm with modern amenities. The service was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was clean and well-appointed, and includes turn down service. Comfortable bed. Surroundings are quiet. I was disappointed in the breakfast buffet; limited options, and not a great value for the money. Go to Café Sauvage nearby. This is a special hotel. I would return, and also recommend it to others.

This is a beautifully updated hotel. The room was spotless. But what stood out to me was the staff. We were treated like royalty during our stay. It is in a great location if you like shopping-steps from Newbury St. I will definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

The stay at the Eliot was fantastic. To say nothing of the ornate and beautiful property itself, the room was immaculate, the staff was among the most courteous I have ever encountered, and I received an early check in time for a complimentary room upgrade. I highly recommend this property; the price and proximity to Back Bay is challenging to surpass.

Everything was perfect and I like the fact that the subway was so close by and it was very easy to get down to Salem which is why I came Boston in the first place , plus I SAW a show at the Wang Theatre on Oct 26th with Leanne Morgan. Everything was so close to the hotel.
