A very pleasant surprise.
We were pleasantly surprised when we reached the hotel. From the greeting that we got upon checking in to the room and the dining. We were not expecting such accommodations so far off of the beaten path. We were unaware of the history but enjoyed leaning about it and it took us both back to our childhoods and how that film made us feel.

There is no air conditioner and there is an all night fog horn. Leaving the windows open is problematic for a light sleeper. But it’s the same everywhere in Bodega Bay and this is a nice property.

Beautiful grounds and rooms!Had a full view of the bay and a fireplace. The Tides restaurant across the street was very nice with incredible views. There is an unusually nice gift shop and a market that specializes in imported Italian foods. Had fun shopping there! The whole hotel complex was great! Would definitely stay again!

Such a wonderful hotel. Just book this place.
What a beautiful property. So very well maintained. It could pass as a botanical garden. The room was also very nice. It was super clean, spacious and comfortable. This was also one of the most quiet places I have ever stayed. I said ‘yes’ to an email they sent me and paid for a snack basket and chocolate covered strawberries. Everything was in my room as I had expected. We had such a nice stay, I love this place and I believe you will too. Don’t forget to bring your swim suit; the deluxe swimming pool is even heated.

Enjoyed a nice, quiet stay in a beautiful room with a view of Bodega Bay. Staff was very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed a continental breakfast at the Tides where we sat in a window seat and watched the seals. Would definitely stay there again.
