The noise from adjacent rooms was the worst. People were up all night. Thumping music, loud talking until 5 a.m. Night manager was contacted 4 times and did nothing to stop it I had to go down 3 flights of stairs to get the manager because the room had no phone. Rooms aren't renovated like the pictures show. DON'T STAY HERE!!!

Hello . I'm the manager who you called at 9:30 pm last night . You said the kids upstairs were disturbing you making noise. I contacted them and they settled down. Your wife called me at 3;00 am ,and said the same people upstairs were having a party with loud music . I stood in front of their door for a couple min. They were not having a party . Then you came down stairs and told me your wife made a mistake and it was not the room upstairs but next to you. I went upstairs with you and listened at their door next to you for noise . I heard a feint sound from a tv , or a computer. You were standing there when I knocked on their door . A gentleman answered the door . I asked him to turn down his television , and he was understanding and turned it off. This was 3am , and not 5am . Some people sleep with the television on. It helps them sleep. I apologize that you were disturbed .. However , I believe it is unfair to criticize me for not helping the situation . On another note most of the rooms are remodeled including yours. You had a kitchenette with a granite top housing a refrigerator and micro wave . Also , 55" flat screen television , canned ceiling fixtures with dimmers , and new double pane windows.We always strive to make our guests comfortable , and go the extra mile to accomplish it. Thank you for staying with us.

The Glenmore Plaza is a historic hotel. Quaint and comfortable. If you are looking for style and amenities, not so much here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The front desk is not staffed after hours, so don't expect to get services after 6pm. Location is right off the main street and easy walk to all restaurants and the beach. Biggest issue may be that there is no elevator. This is a very old building and 3 flights of stairs was an issue for some members of our party. The hotel was remodeled in recent years and everything works as expected. Big screen TV on the wall. The bathroom was large and the room had a mini-fridge and microwave. There was no in-room coffee maker. Complimentary breakfast was generous and free shuttle to/from the dock was provided.

Hotel Ok, personnel bad.

Pros: The room was nice, the house keeper did a excellent job
Cons: Fire the front desk personnel, hire costumer friendly people.
Location: it is located within walking distance of the island's main attractions
Not a good morning, not a smile, looking at their cell phone while talking to customers. the staff at this place is awful when it comes to customer service. I wish I could say it was just one of the employees, but unfortunately all front desk stuff was the same way. There is no drinking water available in the room, it says that it is provided upon request but when asked, in a very dismissive and uninterested attitude, the man at the front desk sent to buy some at the store too doors up from the store entrance. The older couple that served us the complimentary breakfast next door were the total opposite than the front desk people, very friendly and accommodating. There is no elevator, so if you get a room upstairs be ready to climb, if you get a room downstairs be ready for the noise from the night life outside.
