"Our recent experience at the Histórico Central Hotel in Mexico City was exceptional from the moment we checked in until the day we checked out, every interaction with the staff was seamless. The team was consistently professional, welcoming, and genuinely committed to providing outstanding customer service. We stayed in a spacious Junior Suite (exterior balcony) was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. A previous review mentioned street noise, we found it to be much less noticeable than expected, especially considering the hotel’s prime downtown location. One of the standout features of this hotel is the incredible value it offers. Guests can enjoy complimentary food and beverages throughout the day (excluding alcoholic drinks). The café is open 24 hours and a delicious complimentary breakfast each morning is available in the dining room and sunroom. What we especially appreciated was that the breakfast reflected Mexican cuisine rather than a typical American-style breakfast. The hotel’s location is walking distance of major retail stores and only about three blocks from the Zócalo, Mexico City’s iconic main square. The staff can arrange professional drivers for trips throughout the city, with rates varying based on where you’d like to go. Housekeeping was outstanding. The room was impeccably cleaned each day. One MINOR critique is that the room lighting was a bit dim for my liking. In summary, the Histórico Central is the perfect hotel located close to CDMX!"
