Close to a nice shopping mall, but nothing else.

When I booked the hotel, the page said the rooms had wifi and that it included breakfast, but when I arrived they said it was extra and it was pretty expensive to add. Also, before I finalized the booking it said it was $95 per night when I booked it, it added $65 extra per night for the 3rd guest. The hotel needs to be remodeled; it is old and tacky and pretty far away from most points of interest.

Located in Polanco, hotel is quiet & convenient

The hotel is very uncrowded yet close to Paseo de la Reforma, Polanco businesses, Chapultepec museums and parks, and easy walk to Zona Rosa. A little too quiet sometimes and seems to cater to the "business class" of visitor. Refreshing oasis compared to the hustle of El Centro and Zocalo. Taxis to that area are available but vary in price. Bus and metro lines are also close.

Noisy restless sleep

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet, Noisy
Hotel has the best clean food options hands down, normally the hotel is very accomedating and high end service. I booked a king bed suite and upon checking in was given a double bed room located facing the main roads. It was very noisy had to use ear plugs asked to be moved to a quieter room and was given a room on another busy street. Normally I stay here when the rates are good but I was definitely disappointed with my room. Restaurant choices and bars are excellent and highly recomended. Make sure you book a interior facing room if you want a good night sleep.

Used to be a good hotel; not any more.

Pros: Quiet
Cons: No free Internet, very very expensive phone calls
Extremely expensive to make a simple local phone call. The price was $4.40 PESOS PER MINUTE. For cell phone calls was like $16 PESOS PER MINUTE. On top of that there is phone call prices are not written in any place. Everything regarding this subject is given to you by phone. There is no free wired or wireless internet. It is a feature now in many hotels in Mexico City and all over the world. I used to be a Camino Real Polanco fan. You lost me. I am not planning to come back any more.
