Historic hotel very well maintained and in good condition. The area around the property the called “Zona Rosa” is not what it used to be. Not the trendiest and exclusive area it was in the past. The hotel is great, the Zona Rosa not so much.

Classic Mexico City hotel
This is a classic hotel proud of its history and traditions, but with clean, functional rooms, good breakfast, and modern amenities. Was here for a conference and the conference facilities were excellent. Great walking neighborhoods around the hotel.

Hotel a un estilo antiguo muy bonito. Los empleados son muy amables y dan un servicio de primera. Los cuartos necesitan que le hagan un update en el cuarto que estábamos primero tuvimos problema en el baño había un liqueo de agua y se inundó. Nos tuvieron que cambiar de cuarto y el que nos dieron era más pequeño

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! It feels quite glamorous and has the charm of "Old Mexico". The room was spacious and comfortable, but what really makes this place shine is the top-notch service of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. The staff are helpful and the restaurants in the hotel have great food. Great if you like a more vintage vibe but with modern amenities. My only complaint is we were put in a room with two full beds rather than one queen.

Worst two nights stay
The hotel is very nice colonial style… I had the worst room ever facing the street, couldn’t sleep at all the two nights I stayed in the premises. Too much noise, ppl talking, yelling and screaming and added to that the loud music and the sirens of the ambulance every 5-10 minutes. Not very pleasant… also it was my birthday and I invited some friends for a small celebration at the bar due to live music the hotel perform on Friday night. I asked the hotel what was the protocol to bring a MARIACHIS of 4 to sing “LAS MAÑANITAS” NOPE!! The hotel won’t allow it and to cut a little cake for 5 people… they allow me to bring the cake but they want me to reserve a room for it I said for 5 people? NOPE!! I ended up going somewhere else.. just remember if you happen to have a small celebration GENEVE is not the hotel for.

The tub/shower always flooded the floor. The tub took forever to drain. We requested many time for ice and it took 20 + mins to get. They spent more time making sure the first floor lobby was to a “T” Location was great for Zona Rosa area and the price when I booked was in line of all competitors. Next time I go back I will look elsewhere.

Food at the restaurant with the buffet was horrible. I ate there once and ate out the rest of the time. Outside of that it was a very nice quiet place and very well kept.
