Nice Hotel

Pros: Nice view from the window of Chapultepec Park and Chapultepec Castle.
Cons: Not sure. My stay was very brief.
Location: Didn't get to venture out much. This was a brief stop to and from Punta Mita.
I stayed in this hotel overnight as a brief stop on my way to and from Punta Mita. It is a lovely hotel that is clean and nice. The first night I stayed there I ate in the hotel restaurant. It was a good meal. I never used the mini bar so I couldn't tell you what that was like. The desk staff was courteous and helpful during check in. In the two rooms I stayed in I enjoyed a great view of Chapultepec Castle and Chapultepec Park.

Pricey but worth it!

We didn't have reservations but called the reservations number using the courtesy phone in the lobby and got a better deal. Then we walked 15 feet over to the counter and they took care of the rest. The view was incredible, the room clean, and the staff very helpful. My only complaint was filling the ice bucket. I had to go to the restaurant and ask a waiter to fill it for me, when I would have rather filled it myself. But after talking to the staff, I was told that it wasn't an option. The staff made sure to get us in safe taxis and there was no problem getting anywhere we wanted to go. Lots of awesome restaurants and street food all around. Best hotel for visiting the "must see" Anthropology Museum!

Fiesta Grand Chapultepec

Pros: Close restaurants
I travel to Mexico a lot for business and stay in many hotels. I really liked the customer service I received from all of the staff at the hotel... they really made me feel comfortable and provided me all the support I needed when needing to get my business done.

PERFECT LOCATION AND VERY CLEAN

Perfect location for my short stay. Just walk across the street and you are in Chapultepec Park. Walked to Castillo and Museum of Anthropology. Awesome view from my room, very clean. Would stay here again.

Awful service

I would like to inform you of my unforgetable experience at your hotel during my recent vacation. The receptionist at your hotel upon arrival was chewing gum and it was not appropiate, it is bad manners especially when your guests arrive it is a very bad reflection of your employees demonstrating that their is no supervision. Walking into my room, it was to my surprise the room was not made. There were dirty towels in the bathroom and the room service tray was on the floor. What an impression I received,!!! I was ready to leave to another hotel. Is this how you operate your hotel? Your employees show no professionalism, no smiles or friendliness. There are hotels that know how to welcome and cater their customers. FYI my family and I decided to leave and to stay at another hotel. NEVER AGAIN OR WILL I RECOMMEND YOUR HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!

Great Customer Service

Spent three nights there on business. Excellent customer service from everyone. Only issue we had is they offer an Express check-out but did not understand that means THEY check you out at the time you tell them you want to check out so when went to the breakfast I was told I was not listed in the computer but a quick call to the front desk fixed everything. Good location very nice rooms. Would highly recommend it. We got a package with breakfast included. The buffet breakfast was very nice and the dinning room very comfortable. Had dinner in the dinning room one night and the food was excellent. Bed was a little hard for my taste. Used the business center, internet connection was very fast.

Great Hotel!!

My husband and I stayed at the Fiesta Americana Grand Chapultepec for four nights in October 2009 - what a nice place! The room was huge... it's totally worth the $ more for the "deluxe" room with view of the park. And the bathroom was all marble, everything was spotless, service outstanding, and everything was comfortable. The beds were a little firm (maybe new?) but we called housekeeping and they happily and promptly put on additional padding for us. The car valet was polite and *fast*. They also just added a nice bar in the lobby, comfortable to sit and have a drink before dinner! For the reasonable price I expected less, was really pleasantly surprised. There are tons of good places to eat nearby in Polanco and Lomas, and it's walking distance to Chapultepec park and the castle. Great location. We stay in Mexico City a couple times a year and will stay here always from now on!

Excellent location, comfort, convenient, safe, and GREAT price from Travel website!

We go to Mexico City every year to see family that lives there... we've stayed at many hotels in the city in different areas. The Fiesta Americana Grand Chapultepec is one of the best by far! The location is perfect... It's one block from Chapultepec park and castle (way easier and more fun to walk to & through the park than drive from elsewhere). It's also just a couple minutes drive from the museums and concert hall on Reforma, and it's in a decent neighborhood. And it's just a short taxi ride to Polanco and Lomas (where the best dining, shopping, and nightlife is). The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, marble everywhere, spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, very clean, and has excellent service. The valet is fast & easy. Only the front desk was a little slow. Security was also great (this is an important factor in Mexico City) - not only did they have guards at the hotel entrance, but the elevator also required your room key to get to your floor. Also note, when I called the hotel directly they quoted me DOUBLE the Travel agency "good buy" rate - Travel agency definitely saved me some major money! The only slight negative was the steep charge for internet access, $15 for 12 hours, or $25 for 24 hours.

Elegant business hotel

This is a great hotel for business. It is small and elegant with very comfortable rooms that have functioning wireless internet access. There is only one restaurant -- the food is good, but it does get old if you stay there a few nights.
