"Excellent location: a short walk from Millennium Park, where we enjoyed a fantastic free Monday night summer concert and literally just steps from the Chicago Theater. The staff we encountered at the hotel were also real stars, from friendly and unpretentious front desk folks to maintenance promptly addressing some minor issues we encountered ( a tepid shower temperature on the first day). Room was spotlessly clean. The free cocktails during the generous happy "hour" on the rooftop were excellent and a great start to the evening. We only stayed for 2 nights, so lack of daily housekeeping wasn't an issue for us. A bit of noise from the nearby L train but earplugs provided."
