Many complaints about this property. Our unit was Penthouse which was very hot. 105 degrees in DC. Maintenance made attempt to cool unit down but the air conditioning could not keep up with the heat coming through the windows. Manager did offer another unit, because it was another 2 night stay, we decided to stay put.
A 500.00 charge was put on my credit card at checkout. I had already paid for stay through Travelocity. I made many phone calls to Sonder to dispute my charge. Despite sending them proof of my payment through Travelocity, Sonder would not refund my money. I finally went to my credit card company and filed a complaint. For this reason I would not recommend this property. Once you check out, they are not willing to work with you if you have any issues or concerns.
Despite these issues, loved the area, great restaurants and had a really good time.
I generally like to give good reviews but I was very disappointed in the way Sonder treats their customers. I use Travelocity for all my travels and have never had a problem till this trip to DC. Will not be booking any Sonder property in the future or recommend this company.
