Flights To Estes Park
Your Rocky Mountain adventure begins when you board one of the many flights to Estes Park, Colorado, and land at Denver International Airport (DEN). Located in Larimer County, Colorado, Estes Park is the official headquarters of Rocky Mountain National Park and sits right on Big Thompson River. It is a popular destination for mountain lovers, rock climbers, kayakers, skiers, outdoor types, and tourists of every age.
Transportation From DEN
Located 80 miles from Denver, DEN handles Estes Park flights daily. Shared ride vans, sometimes called commuter shuttles, can take you from the airport to various destinations in the Estes Park area; however, you will need to book them in advance. On the way to Estes Park, shuttles stop at all of the major hotels in the area. You can also rent a car from the airport's Jeppesen Terminal. Once in your rental vehicle, head out on I470 North and go north on I25. The tolls are collected by license plate, so check with the rental company in advance on their policy. You could also simply drive north on I25 until you get to the Colorado 66, go west to Lyons, and keep heading west to US36. If, however, you prefer charter buses, they can be arranged at the Ground Transportation Information Counter at the airport. Book a room at one of several Estes Park hotels to use as your home base for exploring the area.
