Shockingly filthy and rundown: the carpets in the hallways hadn't been vacuumed in months; our room was poorly cleaned (wrappers, hair, and cigarette ashes on the floor); the heating unit was broken and filled with dust (see photo); the large window had a top-to-bottom crack letting in below-zero air. It felt like something you'd see on Breaking Bad. They moved us to a room that was in slightly better shape. The only positives: the internet worked and the beds were OK.
