The room was lovely. The dinner was great and service was excellent. We hope to get a reservation for dinner for Valentine’s Day when we stay there again.

Nice, comfortable bed, clean, great location, walk to town, very helpful staff, but not a " luxury hotel" ie no minibar, shower is in tub, coffeemaker in room, but packets of powdered creamer in a packet with sugars and a cheap napkin. Desk in room had a chair so low I couldn't work there. Would I stay again? Definitely. But it's more of a conference center. Don't expect luxury.

Relaxing get away

Pros: Everything
Booked a spa treatment at Red Door spa and turned it into a girls weekend! The hotel was luxurious and provided the perfect get away. I highly recommend it.

A gracious hotel

Pros: See above
Cons: Nothing
Location: Very close to parks, reastaurants, events
We have visited the hotel several time for family gatherings. The staff is acommodating. The rooms and amenaties are excellent.

My stay here was wonderful! This hotel is a 5☆ place to stay. The hotel itself is clean ,beautiful and well kept. The staff is GREAT, they are friendly and polite. The food was delicious and room service was great. I loved our room. The bathroom was stocked with things you might need and of good quality ,might i add. I cant wait to stay here again. I look foward to it and so does my family

The Hotel Rooms are Disgusting

Cons: Noisy, outdated
This hotel is gorgeous when you walk into the lobby. The bellman are great and friendly. You think you are staying at a 4 star hotel until you get to your room. Our hotel room looked like something straight out of a 1960 horror film. There was a chair with a broken arm and ripped fabric. The lights did not match and looked like they had been picked up at a local garage sale. The bathroom had a broken shelf. The room was completely useless for business travel, the desk barely fit our laptop. It was horrible. Then as the night wore on we were right above the ballroom, where a wedding band blasted music until after midnight. A call to the front desk resulted in a rude clerk telling us there was nothing she could do. She didn't even so much as offer us another pillow to muzzle the noise. This hotel is the WORST. Do NOT stay here.

We are pleased to share that we have recently renovated all of our guest rooms, which are complete with custom millwork, pillow top mattresses, sparkling new bathrooms and custom Italian furniture. Additionally, we have recently opened the notable Polo Steakhouse and Polo Lounge. We look forward to your return to experience all that our hotel has to offer!

The front desk staff Naman & James were great! Beds not so comfy.

Pros: Quiet, great pool
Cons: beds too small
We booked the hotel because it was going to be convenient to a family gathering that we were attending. Front desk staff was personable as well as the wait staff in the restaurant Rein. The children loved the pool. The beds however were too small we were in 2 doubles for the size of the room and price they need to upgrade beds to queen size beds. With that said we would stay here again in the future.

Five Star, my foot!

Cons: No free Internet, pricey dining options, failed wake-up service, old rooms
And speaking of FOOT, our room literally stunk to high heavens -- sort of like a used gym sock drenched in three month old milk. No joke, it smacked you in the face every time you enter the room. We discovered that other friends experienced the same aromatic sensation in their rooms. As for the room itself, it has definitely seen better days. There was a large crack in the plaster under the window and a small hole in the ceiling above the bed. There were two unsightly cigarette burns on the elegant marble vanity in the bathroom (so much for "smoke-free"). Oh, and one of the lamps in the room had a burned out bulb... but hey, that happens. Finally, the service -- easily the biggest reason not to return this hotel. We were staying at the hotel due to a nearby wedding. We had booked months in advance, confirmed the week before. Regardless, we were called the night before to ask if we still wanted the room -- they had no record of our confirmation. When we arrived, our room was not ready for check-in. Despite the 3PM check-in time, we had to wait until 7PM before being provided with access. Also, it should be noted that the check-in staff forgot to hand out the greeting gifts from the wedding hosts (this was also the case for a few other friends). The "I've-had-it-with-this-place" moment was their wake-up call service, or lack thereof. I had called the front desk for an early next-day wake-up call. They certainly seemed like they took note of the request. However, no wake-up call was provided. In a fortunate stroke of luck, the hotel happened to be testing their fire alarm system at 9am on Saturday morning!! I am pretty sure the other guests were not as appreciative of that little treat on a weekend morning, but it worked out for me. I will say, on the plus side -- the bed was very comfortable and the clean linens certainly helped offset the putrid stench of the room. Oh, I should mention that the hotel bar is definitely pricey and the staff does its best to conceal the 18% gratuity on everything regardless of party size (read: be sure to ask for the itemized check if they "forget" to provide it within your bill). Other that that -- its a wonderful place!
