Room was stained everywhere. Walls, ceiling, floor were dirty and damaged. We stayed in the room long enough to find another place to stay. Checked in at 3 pm and returned card at 4 pm then left. It looked like a homeless shelter.

Room was gross, shower had ceiling tiles falling down. While nothing unsafe was apparent, we did not feel safe in the room. Outside of that, only three channels on the tv had working sound, there were no outlets readily available to charge any devices and the room smelled nauseatingly of stale cigarette smoke. Ryder Cup week and the choices were slim, but I'd avoid this property.

Room smelled like pee which I assumed was bleach used to cover up cigarette smell (was a non-smoking room). Was there for one night but left my suit in the car to avoid it smelling like the room (had an interview the next day). Staff was very polite and available though. No wi-fi but had decent cell service. If your ok toughing it out for one night can probably do it for a deal but for some might not be worth the 20 dollars saved.

Ryder Cup

Was a good basi hotel. Used it as home base for the Ryder Cup and served its purpose perfectly. Neighbourhood had ample pubs and places to eat and only about 30 mins to Penn Stn by train. All and all a nice low frills option.

If a crackhouse with running water was a one star, I would give this place two stars. I have stayed at some very nice five-star hotels, so migrating scale is somewhat harsh. Our bathroom door had no door knob. But, I wasn’t worried about getting locked in because the door wouldn’t shut all the way anyway. I brought it to the attention of the front desk, and they did have a door knob Installed by the next day. The room was definitely in need of a fresh paint job. The beds were adequate. Could not get the floor unit of air conditioning/heating to work property. I would definitely not stay at this place ever again.

Every aspect of the facility needs a thourough cleaning and new furniture. There was no continental breakfast as advertised and no coffee maker/condiments in the room. Room was not refreshed/cleaned for our two night stay. The room key was not set for our two night stay which required attention
