The third time is a charm! We returned to The Allegria Hotel because we love the location and our ocean view room was wonderful. The weather was perfect too. Only glitches were minor: we had to request a coffee maker (we brought our own Starbucks Keurig pods), but they didn’t give us any cups! The other challenge was the key card needing to be reprogrammed EVERY DAY! Other than that, our stay was great!

I absolutely loved the Allegria. It was in a perfect location, right on the boardwalk, access to free parking and the beautiful Atlantica Ocean, with a beautiful restaurant on the property. Our room had a gorgeous ocean view. I just wish it had a terrace so we could enjoy the view while experiencing the ocean breeze. I would definitely come back!!

No tea or coffee in rooms. Windows were filthy and sealed closed - probably a fire hazard, Room door does not close tight. Noisy with screaming children, dogs and drunken wedding guests. Pool facilities were not available due to excessive numbers. Charged resort fee on top of $430 average nightly room charge. Worst value ever. Do not stay here.

I liked the fact that it's on the beach. I did not like these issues: 1. no one at front desk ever answered the phone when I tried to call them. 2. My room was only cleaned once and I was there for 5 nights. It was only cleaned when I complained to the front desk 3. Almost no one wears a mask, and we are in the midst of the Covid Delta variant! 4. After they supposedly cleaned my room, the floor was still full of dirt and sand! 5. The breakfast buffet is very expensive and has very limited choices 6. I would give this hotel a 3* at most, and only because it fronts the beach.

Although towels were missing from the room when we checked in, the hotel staff was friendly and responsive when you asked them in person…no one picks up the phone when you call the front desk or housekeeping.

This hotel advertised "free breakfast" but did not honored it! we had to pay $25 for each of us. My hotel confirmation email said I would have to pay and extra $45 for the use of the beach, etc., but it rained all weekend and they still went ahead and charge us not 45 but $50. These people are possibly the worst experience I've had ever!!!
