Nice ADU in Point Loma Area

Nice ADU in the Point Loma area. Small but comfortable. Hot tub was nice. And we had a parking spot. WiFi needs a boost but other than that - all good

San Diego adventure!

A friend and I spent a week in San Diego. The Avocado Hut was perfect. We loved that it has two bedrooms and a living room and kitchen area. The private outdoor space was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay! I would definitely stay at the Avocado Hut any time I visit San Diego!

Quiet and nice hot tub, but lousy mattresses

Enjoyed the peacefulness and hot tub. The mattresses were the worst I have ever slept on. With the amount of money paid, you would expect some decent mattresses. Did not sleep much. You definitely need a car or at least bicycles staying here to get anywhere in Pt. Loma without walking 20-30 minutes.

Awesome Avocado Hut Stay

We came to San Diego to reunite with our son after his 9 month deployment. This adorable house was the perfect place for us to unwind, and spend quality time. The beds were super comfy, hot tub experience was amazing, directions & check in were easy. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking, enjoying morning coffee, & relaxing. Being a tall family we especially appreciated the high shower head, & hot water was abundant. Decorated very classy & cute. We walked down to the cliffs when the sun went down & it was amazing. I would highly recommend this place to stay & we will be back in the future!! 5 Stars all the way!

Best stay at a VRBO ever

Wonderful neighborhood, very safe to walk around. Quiet and clean. Wonderful Hot Tub under the amazing Avocado Tree! Very relaxing to come to a "home" after working at a conference all day. Thanks for the fantastic home away from home.

Stayed here while in town for a sailing regatta. Perfect home away from home and the hot tub was much appreciated following long days on the water. Unit is clean, well looked after, and well managed.

Great for family

The house was great for our family. We 2 under 4 and they loved the beach toys and the hot tub. House had everything we needed for our 2 year old, including a pack and play and camping style highchair! Great for small families and great outside space.

Ripe in the Middle of All Things San Diego

Very nice 2 bed / 1 bath cottage in a wonderful neighborhood right in the middle of many of the greatest places to site see and explore. If you have never been to OB, this is one of my favorite places in San Diego. Food, drinks, shopping, farmer's market...Taco shops, bar and grill's, noodles...you name it. This Cottage was well stocked with essentials. If you need ore there is OB Peoples Grocery or a couple miles away Target, Walgreen's, etc. This Cottage has AC and in the summer AC is a necessity for me. Do know it is a mini-split AC so cooling the bedrooms and bathroom will need a little fan help. And, this cottage has fans. We were pleasantly cooled in the breeze the fans provided and that breeze allowed us to direct cooling in to the bedrooms and bathroom. The hot tub is excellent quality and perfect to ease the aches and pains of a long day of travel and exploring. The hot tub awaited us with a solid 104 degree bath in soothing current and bubbles. the Avocado Tree!! It is a patio umbrella at minimal with its curving branches full of leaves and beautiful accent lights for the evening. Providing a gorgeous place to sit and play games after burning a lil in the California sun and relaxing in the evening with a cocktail or two while planning out the next days adventures. Yes I said games.. a cornhole setup awaits you but also many board games. Wifi was a bit weak if you plan to stay connected...though this presented us little issue. Oh no.. I ran out of space for this revi

Great Hot tub!

This rental needs some TLC. Needs a fresh coat of paint in each room and some new area rugs The closet and dresser had games and videos that either needed to be relocated or reorganized because it limited storage as we were there for 10 days!The cleaning people did not do such a good job before we checked in. The owner who lives on the property was Awedome and prompt0 with some requests we had!

Great location that offered a great place to recover after an unforgettable beach day.

Everything was great except the hot tub didn’t work which was a disappointment and would have been nice to know prior to our stay. Other than that one thing - we had a wonderful time and it made a great nap time/home base for us for the week. Thank you!

Great experience

We booked 6 nights for a family trip and attend our daughter graduation from UCSD. Booking process, checking in and out were easy. Aaron was very prompt in his communication. Although we did not use the hot tub, it was clean and properly serviced. Great location, just a few miles from Ocean Beach. Quiet neighborhood.

A beautiful location

This is a beautiful place in an amazing location! The communication with Vacation Rentals by Aaron was instantaneous. We were in San Diego for the sudden passing of my sister, and we returned after a difficult day to flowers and a bottle of wine from the hosts. An incredibly thoughtful and unexpected gesture. I would recommend The Avocado Hit to anybody and will stay here again in a heartbeat,

Location, location, location

Very nice stay. Communication was flawless and Aaron was incredibly helpful. The property was smaller than we considered but overall roomie enough for our family of four. We did not stay indoors much. Air conditioner was helpful but you need to keep all bedroom doors open and fans on. The fridge was not very clean. Other than that a great stay.

Cute Tiny Hut!

The Hut is as pictured; two bedrooms and a bathroom. This is a great place for a couple handing out at the beach all day! The Master is a King size bed - FYI Master has no TV (my husband was not thrilled). The second bedroom has a double size mattress and a TV. This place is perfect for two/three people who do not plan on being at the property much. The bedrooms as a good size but the dining/kitchen/living room is basically a small studio. For a family of 4 (two teens) it was too small to hang out. So when we were there we were laying in bed. The dining room cart table is good for the space but too small to eat at. They had just put in Air conditioning. However the air did not reach the bedrooms and the fans were just pushing around warm air while we slept. Overall we had a good stay. Thank you for sharing your property.
