Property Just as Pictured, Rate as 4.5 Stars if I Could

Everything pictured in the photos was there. If you go in with those expectations, you'll likely be satisfied. Check in and check out were very easy, as described in the listing. For us, the best part of the stay was having a dedicated parking spot behind the property. Perhaps my expectations were too high. I had issues with my Apple devices getting booted off the wifi, which was frustrating and was not resolved during our stay. I also think there are some things that could use a bit of TLC, but I'll share those privately with the owner. Wish I could rate this 4.5 stars on the app, but I can't.

Brief San Diego getaway

Nice studio casita that is well prepared and well kept. There is a dedicated parking spot behind the lot but it’s better to get a spot in the street in front (we could always find a spot.) There’s a nice sitting spot to enjoy the outdoors in front of the casita but we were unable to take advantage of. We would recommend.

Wonderful stay

Everything about the place was very convenient and homey. And the parking spot in the alley behind the housing is perfect considering the roads surrounding the place are quite consistently packed with other vehicles.

We would 100% stay here again. We loved our stay, loved the fact that we had the option of using a full kitchen and our outside area was super cute. But def everything is ready for us to use in a sense that if I forgot something they had it there. Very convenient and I would def stay again!

Very cute spot!

It was super easy to check in/out and stay in contact with the host. This is our first time staying in San Diego and staying here really elevated the experience! The holiday lights also was really fun! Highly recommend

We had a bit of delay on our stay due to a weather induced flight cancellation. Once we arrived a day late, we had a great time in San Diego. The location of our rental was perfect. It was cute, clean and equipped with everything we needed. I had to work for a single day while vacationing. The internet was strong. Checkout was easy. We would recommend this place.

such a great value

this was so much better than staying at a hotel. the area is gorgeous and so was the vrbo. we plan on taking this trip again next year and hope to stay at the same place with any luck. only thing i would warn of is there isnt any great amount of storage for clothing. didnt bother is at all but might be something other travelers look for.

This property is great

The property is exactly as pictured and explained on line. Very clean and communication with host is great. Only issue may be parking which is only street parking unless you have a small vehicle to park in the reserved spot in the alley behind the house. This is a much better value for staying in San Diego area compared to a hotel. We will definitely stay here again when we return to San Diego and I would highly recommend this property for two people or a family of 4.

Perfect place adjacent to SDSU

We discovered Kensington as a quaint neighborhood just a few miles from SDSU a couple of years ago but had never stayed in the area. For parents weekend we wanted to be close to the stadium and campus so found this rental. The rental is perfect for a weekend getaway. It's spacious for a studio, nicely remodeled, the kitchen is ridiculously well stocked and the neighborhood is really quiet. We enjoyed walking the short walk to downtown Kensington to eat or grab a drink. Highly recommend this rental and staying in Kensington. A little hidden gem in SD!

The house was modern, clean and a perfect fit for what we needed. The neighborhood was cute and safe and we walked to the coffee shop for breakfast. The owners provided everything that we needed, so we didn’t need to reach out with any questions. Highly recommend this place!

Nice home away from home

We live in La Mesa and our home was undergoing remodeling. It wasn't completed on time so we needed to stay at a few VRBO's until then. A very nice studio, probably the most well stocked kitchen of all the places we stayed, all the cooking tools we needed. And no Keurig thank goodness. Very nice patio although I only had time to sit out there once when my husband was at work. Quiet neighborhood and close to Adams Ave. Highly recommend!

This property is delightfull. My wife and I enjoyed a two night staycation here to celebrate our anniversary. Pluses: A wonderful, quiet neighborhood close to great restaurants, a comfortable bed, effective AC, every streaming platform you could want, a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom, great privacy, and easy parking. We never had to use the dedicated space that is around the block from the unit. Cons: can’t think of any. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place!

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was everything we needed. It was clean, quiet and within walking distance to all of Kensington. This was one of the nicest vrbo rentals I’ve stayed in.
