Shared bathrooms are secure and plentiful, although sometimes oddly shaped. That's uniquely NYC, which I love and miss about my home city of 22 years. No need to worry about strangers entering bathrooms. Use is by key card and availability, similar to guest rooms. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Building is aging but still in great repair.

I took my teen here. We both loved the experience and the bunk bed room. The street is quiet, safe and has dozens of excellent local restaurants. Near a CVS and Daiso. Walkable to 5th ave. Excellent t bus and metro or Taxi access. A perfect place to stay for anyone. Design is similar to a cruise ship. Contemporary, elegant and efficient.

I have now stayed at all Pod properties in NYC and this is by my favorite. The rooms are slightly more spacious. Window was great. Staff was super nice! Close to the subway.

Perfect for my needs during business trip. Occupants of bunk bed rooms across the hall were noisy and hung out in the hallways, but we’re not heard when they had the courtesy to go inside their rooms. At check in, desk agents were unfriendly. But check-out agent was wonderful. Left an item behind, and it was easy to pick it up. This is the neighborhood I lived in for 18 years, and this is the first hotel that felt like home. I have three other stays booked here now.
