Excellent views, however, it was small space. Two more feet either way would’ve been great in the bedroom as well as the bathroom. Furnishings were nice. Everything was clean and worked. The elevator system was a disaster in the mornings. We sat on the 31st floor for 45 minutes waiting for an elevator both mornings. Breakfast was good. Overall, it was a nice clean. Very small place to enjoy the New York experience. Absolutely loved the location. I probably wouldn’t stay here again just because of the elevator situation and no stairs, but that’s just a personal thing for myself.

Surprisingly quiet considering where we were. The elevator rush hour in the morning is insane. Allow more time the higher your room is, like 30 min or so. Stayed one night and it was just what we needed. June 2025.

Close proximity to Times Square. Rooms were clean and front desk was friendly. I appreciated the 24 hour coffee station as well as continental breakfast so we could eat before starting the day. My only negative feedback is the rooftop bar hostess was not very friendly, and the drinks were over-priced for what they were. I would stay at this hotel again.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had in NYC, primarily because of the elevator system. Only 2 or 3 in service, and the wait time to get from the 22 floor to lobby averaged over 10 minutes. Twice we had a situation where an elevator stopped because weight restrictions were exceeded because the elevator was packed. The last time was when we were trying to get to the lobby to check out and take an Uber to the airport. Never again

Great location for anyone going to a Broadway show or to be near Times Square. Rooms are on the smaller size, but comfortable and the bathroom seemed to have been renovated recently. Appreciated getting breakfast. The only negative was the wait time for the elevators. Being on the 24th floor taking the stairs wasn't really an option.

This hotel is in a great location near Times Square and Rockefeller Plaza, good walking distance to Broadway shows. Staff was helpful and a housekeeper was kind to follow up on my request for more washcloths. Liked the elevator set up for going to our rooms but we usually took the stairs going down because it was hard to catch an elevator that wasn’t full when going down so we gave up. The rooms were quiet except the doors weren’t soundproof and we could hear the door for the stairs slamming.

Our room was too hot and the AC would not cool the room. Our room was also a king and it was about 135sq feet-including the bathroom! There was no closet just a cubby hole with a very short rod to hang clothes. If you are traveling by yourself it is okay, but if you are with someone it is not enough room for two people. The worst thing was the elevator-be prepared to wait 10-20 min for an elevator. We were almost late for a play! Never again at the Hampton Inn!!!
