This was a beautiful property however I really didn’t feel as though I got the best Customer Service. When we initially checked in, we were a few hours early. Being that we had just come off a cruise we were extremely tired sleeping in the lobby. Initially I was told that our room was not ready. Once I mentioned we came off the cruise, she said you should’ve told me that you can go ahead and check in. I was very confused if it wasn’t ready how did it miraculously become ready. I believe it was ready, but for whatever reason they were holding the room. Though I appreciate being able to check in early once it was noted that we had just come off a cruise, I wish the customer service would’ve been direct and upfront and just allowed us to check into the room , the fact that we weren’t a bottle of wine says that un Expedia. I use Expedia often and never have issues with hotels regarding the bottle of wine. I’m a gold star member and have been. Honestly, overall it was a beautiful property. I just think the staff needs to do better.

Front desk staff was not friendly and seemed annoyed. Front desk staff was gossiping to her co-workers while patrons were being checked in. Rather than waiting for the area to be clear of people, morning cleaning staff made us move our bags and bodies to sweep and mop the lobby while we were waiting for our transportation.

I like that it was an easy walk to the beach. The fitness room was very small and it was not open based on the hours posted. I like working out in the morning before starting work and it didn't open until 8:30.

We had a gold package…upgraded room and wine upon check in…did not receive either. No available. Not sure that was true. They just didn’t want to make the effort or care if we were happy. Tiny room. Shower didn’t work correctly. Asked for a late check out 4 days earlier. No problem. Day of check out told they had no note in our file and made us leave in 20 mins. Pool was tiny and limited seating. Food was good. Cleaning staff good but did not leave extra toilet paper or tissues. Shouldn’t have to chase supplies on vacation. Desk staff very rude. Many staff had limited communication ability. Limited tv channels.

Worst experience ever

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced, room was not ready had to wait till almost 5 to get in out from when i booked it because it should have been 3, (I called to confirm the day before)it was s VIP access room but absolutely nothing even close to a VIP anything. The bottle of wine that we never received is why they said our room wasn't ready. The staff at the front desk was both rude and refused to get anyone for me to speak with onsite even after I ask multiple different times. Then started speaking to the other staff in Spanish about me. (The couple behind me told me) as I do not speak Spanish. We missed the VIP experience of the concert ( the while reason we where in Miami) made for a a total was of money and my time thanks to this hotel. On as side not we should have had a bayview side room but instead they put us in a room on the first floor with matching none over the room features that I had booked. I totally horrible experience. We ending up leaving at 5:30am didn't want another day ruined.
